There’s several ways of shading there’s the basic way of doing it a dark color of the same shade or you can switch the color to slightly a different color for example you can shade red and red purple and orange with red orange yellow with yellow orange or you can do a new layer do a dark purple ish color and put it on where you wanna shade then do overlay or lower the opacity
