What I have done personally and do. is I take heavy inspiration from many different artists styles. But what I do sometimes when it's a new art flow or technique. while I'm drawing I'll get 2 to 3 artworks I've found beforehand and every now and again ill look at them and try and work off and adapt the art styles and techniques used.
