well i go first with a pose, then i make the line art, and then i add the base colors

and the next step is to choose a bright color, and make the light and shadows with it, the light like on this one is red and i used it a lot to make the drawing bright, then i used white to highlight the stuff, finally i had the idea to add inverted color, the opposite of red being cyan, and used it as another highlight
