theres three ways to do line weight at least for me: natural, where you use heavier lines for curves and lighter lines for straighter sections, outlines, which is where you use a thin lineweight for the whole drwaing then do a thick outline for the outside of the drawing, and realistic, which is whewre the closer the object is, the darker the lines, and the further it is the lighter. typically i use natural for my more realistic drawings, i use outline for my stylized art, and i use realistic for my architecture/ background drawings

theres more techniques but those are the three main ones i use
