This server gets flooded everyday with constant spammers and bots just posting "uncredited art" and memes, the problem that never seems to stop. We enjoy seeing art, but we do not like art thieves and a non stop memes that are better suited in other channels being flooded.

The reason we have 2 seperate channels is to allow offical artist to post there work without interruption. We do have a set of rules that can easily be seen at the top of pinned message in #549166897019748363.

Now onto the matter of judging? You may think that it is unfair for someone else to determine what you consider as art. And your right. but that is not the point of why we have judges. We have judges in order to separate the constant flood of artist posting uncredited work and allow for people to post there work and actually have a discussion about art without getting side tracked by other pointless convos that happen in this server ( main rule we have here, is to keep things art related ).

at first we didnt have judges, you just needed to post your art to lessa ( a mod ) and if you had some what artistic abilities, you would get the role instantly. But the problem is that this chat got overcrowedded too fast, and it has been harder to manage and control.

So now we have a judging system ( mainly contributed by myself and others here who have been here a while ). That allows us to filter out artist based on a variety of features to keep the channels clean and less spammy.

how we judge people is private, but as long as your work is original and you have something to offer to the channel, anyone is free to try become verified. I can understand that you may see it as some sort of elistist club that only a few people can get into . But I want you to keep in mind, that this server already has enough people. these rules are not meant for you, they are meant to help us establish order and to control the flow of chaos that comes here. Anyone can talk here if they want. We just want (part1/2)

to have those who are truly serious passionate about art to be able to post without the cluster fck that happens in normal general chat. They have nothing to do with us bashing your art, or gate keeping you from taling with us., Again you joined this server not the other way around. this rule is for order and strictly orders sake. If people dont like it, thats nothing we can change.
Another thing you would need to understand, is that all artist who get this role dont get it for free. while there is only slight benifits for getting it, you have to work to maintain it as well.
