I feel like all of my sketches are bland cuz of the empty background
the only one where I covered up the whole space was this one

I put a lot of time and effort into the centerpiece or the main subject which makes me way too lazy to fill up the rest of the space

Getting those 3d shapes right is a huge challenge for me on paper

I've seen artists use 3d softwares just to get the perspective right and then they draw over the 3d render so everything looks right

it's easy if u start with simple steps
like when im sketching a car of any sort
I start with the basic shapes using a pencil
like a cuboid
and then I use that as a building block for the rest of the sketch

I don't like it when things are too perfect
I've always been a bit skeptical when it comes to using 3d rendering to perfect those lines but then again, it's different for the professionals
you can't show every possible detail through pen and paper
it's too much of a hassle

Although cars are almost exclusively done in 3d coz it's super hard to draw them at angles

Even in cartoons and anime cars are almost always 3d renders
