IND scores another non-stop destination, with Southwest launching flights to BNA (Nashville) starting May 23
This is the 46th non-stop destination out of IND too 🙂
Some highlights of today's planespotting session.
nice
Just got LOUD outside here
Hoping to do some spotting at KIND this Friday
I send too much lately but here are some highlight shots of Saturday.
Wow
Saw the very last built Boeing 747 yesterday
The a318
A318. Flew on it, actually
TU-144
Had a A340 fly over my golf camp today
Inagural service begins tomorrow 🙂
I get of planes here
Living close to JFK, LGA
Which are the closest airports to NYC
Which gives me the prime position
I see A380s every once in a while
copyrighted UPS in Pilot Training Flight Simulator
sus?????
yep

Inagural flight is scheduled to depart in 40 minutes
Gotta love MSFS
What would you name this
COMING NEXT YEAR

Throwback to August 2019
Emirates A380 to return to Birmingham Airport (BHX) from Dubai (DXB) in July
i miss seeing her fly over my house in the morning and evening
the 777 is a bit mediocre i see too many
i do like the 777 but its so boring now bc they’re everywhere
i just love their huge engines
the plane itself is lowkey ugly
of course your favorite plane is probably the C919
777 is alright
how about md-11s
love an md11
8/10 great plane
what are the pilots doing
troll flying
We constantly see tri-jets here thanks to FedEx
Hello all! :D
Once upon a time, airports of the world roared to the sound of three-engined commercial airliners, ranging from smaller regional craft like the Boeing 727 and Hawker Siddeley Trident, to flagship long-distance wide-bodies like the Douglas DC-10 and Lockheed Tristar. Today, though, they're all gone, their demise steeped in the inev...
i think the last tri jet we had at birmingham other than private jets was Biman Bangladesh final DC-10 flight in 2013/14
what you guys think is the most dumbest way to crash an airplane
for me is just leaving the plane on autopilot forever
Trevor Jacob already showed us that
Crashing a plane purpose for social media clout
Breaking news: A plane landed at Charlotte Douglas Airport - without it's landing gear. Read more: https://t.co/WeKYsFcqEk

cebu pacific a320
What a photo
i often wonder how successful ryanair would be in the us market
or if they had transatlantic operations
Probably not very
the would never do that
ryanair is low cost
and low cost airlines almost never do transatlantic
the only low cost airline that did transatlantic was norwegian air
Some photos from yesterday
There's been a plane crash in Mogadishu yesterday
Video of aircraft type E120, operated by HALLA AIRLINE, crash landing on Runway 05 at Aden Ade International Airport (AAIA) today, at 12:23pm local time.
All 34 crew and passengers on board have survived according to the Somali Civil Aviation Authority . One person suffered…

unpopular opinion: plane food is fine
Lucky Bastard
Two of the penguins of the Aerovias DAP fleet, caught yesterday in SCL.
that cloud looks like a plane
is that not a plane dumping fire retardant or something?
it is
It looks like a cloud but I know what it is
Not much of these types left. Only Qantas, Hawaiian, and Delta operate them
Qantas and Delta are phasing their 717s out in favor of the A220. Will be interesting to see what Hawaiian replace them with since they're used for inter-island flights. Since Southwest has began inter-island flights, that's got to have made competition down there fierce.
The 717
bruh 717
more people would pefer southwest over hawaiian so they would have to modernize the fleet
Today's highlight
Lockheed C-130J Hercules
The americans have been doing some exercises here lately
i wanna start an airline that flies a220s using mclellan palomar as a hub
that way san can expand
Super late photo but I took a photo of one that flew overhead
the pics go crazy moyu
Me waiting for jetBlue to start flying into Indianapolis and start up a hub here for their midwest operations: 💤
idk if any of y'all are informed on the issue (im diving down the rabbit hole), but what's the solution to SAN's capacity and runway problems?
if we could make cld support some business / ga jets and some commercial traffic from san, that could free san up to more planes, and while that's happening hopefully an actual proper international airport could be built
somethinkg like cld is a lesser lga, san is a lesser ewr, and then a new jfk esque airport
does that make sense?
idk if that analogy works
I don't think there really is much to expand now at SAN, you'd have to build an entirely new airport, which probably isn't feasable due to proximity to LAX
it is feasible
lax is far enough to be annoying and actually just dumb to get to
plus san diego isn't the only underserved community
plus there's a fuck ton of demand predicted and san won't even be close to coping
like we actually need a new airport
it's annoying that the marine corps are so vital to us that we can't use a bit of their land for an airport
and i don't just mean at miramar
Sheesh
Cool
i wonder why volaris doesn't operate to san diego
i know they have a big hub in tijuana, but they not only applied for permission to start service at san diego but they got approved
then nothing happened lmao
a
woah
LATAM
Love this image
I'm god
c130 again?
N596FE touching down in ANC after flying up from IND
Alaska 1262 powering out of Seattle
they must be doing military drills rn bc i see some planes on flightradar from across the west coast and the fighter jets are SCREAMING
Yeah same as before. Will try to catch at least one of them tomorrow morning
Some LATAM edits
how are you this good at taking photos
that last one looks straight out of an airline ad
Today morning
Also got Yam Dreaming. I've been wanting to catch it since at least 2019
Also one of the chilean Sentry lining up

AC-130J today at SCL.
This plane is hell in the air.
KBOS was so pretty to fly into at 6 am
Lmao the censorship
That's nice, A321-211. Love them. What seat are you having?
Make sure to seat on the front rows so you hear the screaming of the damned of the CFM56
last row ffs
first time
A warning will be issued to @queen herald for not being on an A321 before
How are yall able to be delayed by a day
and expect the delay one day beforehand
So not used to planes not having tvs lmao
i love a321s
good landing fr
Day two of departures and on ground rader at KBOSKBOS
34 minute delays rn
Also *KBOS
unplanned maintenance?
I don’t think so
Considering that CX has spare planes
O wait no
Kagoshima
Khanun
A321-211, same as that one
Just a word of wisdom - if you want ground radar use FR24. FlightAware doesn't show aircraft on the ground like FR24 would.
(example - images taken at the same time)
Air India new livery. Graphic design died today
looks so cool 😎
dang I want one of those plane models
fucking hell hard af landing
Ryanair levels of a hard landing?
probably
Nice
@sleek sapphire I can book you a free ride on this flight if you want
yes
That number should be the one to be truly skipped ngl
Because it's the number that resembles Satan
I've been known my whole life that number resembles him, but I didn't know that the number also mean what I'm about to say... until I learned about it from my grandmother like 4 or 5 years ago
The number 666 also means that Satan MISSED PERFECTION 3 TIMES
I remember when I was in middle school (my county calls them junior high schools) back in 2018, there was this multiplication problem that I refused to answer... and the reason why is because I knew what the answer was gonna be, THAT NUMBER
I'm just quite a strict Christian, and so is my entire family... we just don't like using that number for that reason
Pfft and when I sometimes count, I just go from 665 right to 667
666
i love it
its kinda lucky in chinese culture
lets be honest numbers don't have meaning
Well Christians say the number 666 does though
That number definitely resembles Satan and it is the number of Satan, and quite a bit of Christians (me included) say that it also means that Satan COMPLETELY MISSED and was NOT SPOT ON AT ALL with PERFECTION 3 times
But I digress, believe what you wanna believe... but I believe that is a fact ngl
🫠
Bro same
💀
plane food isn’t actually that bad
It can fly backwards as well didn’t you know?
Decided to go a little bit artsy with this one

One was infamous compared to the other
What you own your own server?

Smooth Like Butter
Aight
Making a Kpop channel would be the worst fucking idea to add here ESPECIALLY if there is any stans are around, that would be a instant turnoff for that shit.
Niki Lauda was such a badass, literally taking on Boeing on this accident
cyclops gone already
major stan is gone already
Ain't Lauda just ryanair now?
From 2020
Why the nose gear lower than normal
The original one was taken up by Austrian Airlines
The B764 is designed like that
I literally just edited this other pic and it looks even more angled here
Yet the horizon is leveled horizontally
heres some a320 takeoff sounds
Noice!
