oh there’s this one dutch brand called vivera that makes it from veggie protein, obv it’s not the real thing but look, texture and taste wise it does work well enough as a substitute for fried salmon in certain dishes.

Honestly simple white sauce pasta is very fun

I have learned what's roux, mornay and bechamel. What's the difference and what texture is correct. It's fun to do it again and again and building upon a simple thing. Especially when growing up i have never dealt with anything like it because it's a dish of a different culture
