sinigang it's a Filipino comfort food and it gives me comfort when cooking it, and eggplant shakshuka and chicken chowder, easy to make and became the favorite of my family
but i love making pastas more than anything lmao, any kind of pasta

oh thereโs this one dutch brand called vivera that makes it from veggie protein, obv itโs not the real thing but look, texture and taste wise it does work well enough as a substitute for fried salmon in certain dishes.
Honestly simple white sauce pasta is very fun
I have learned what's roux, mornay and bechamel. What's the difference and what texture is correct. It's fun to do it again and again and building upon a simple thing. Especially when growing up i have never dealt with anything like it because it's a dish of a different culture
Ain't nothing like making onigiri at midnight and then packing it for lunch the next day ๐
