my siblings and i wake up christmas morning, and we wait at the top of the stairs until our parents tell us we can go downstairs. then we always race downstairs and someone plays santa, giving out presents one at a time, youngest to oldest. we check our stockings first though. in the afternoon, we go to celebrate christmas with one side of the family, than with the other later in the week
I celebrate christmas by begging Nico to finally tell me I got the verified theories questions right!!
we used to have traditions but this year we did literally nothing š
we had pancakes for breakfast tho so that was so epic
on christmas eve we have pizza for dinner and see 1 set of grandparents, and then on christmas we have dinner with the other set of grams
i usually eat a big breakfast and decorate cookies
GRAMS??? *grandparents
we donāt really have any traditions. spending the day with my family & eating dinner later :)
my dad cooks a big breakfast for us after we all sit by the tree and open our presents :)) usually weād go over to see my cousins and grandparents but not this year bc of covid, so instead my brother and i are messing around with the stuff we got (i got art supplies and manga and other stuff and he got some new video games)
My family just opens gifts
We are doing our second Christmas with my hubs family
My family does something called taco Christmas. We make chicken taco meat, and we make a make your own taco bar. we eat and open presents and stockings, and watch funny farm
since i am in New Zealand, we have a warm christmas, and most families dont have the usual dinner, but instead have a lunch, and do activities like swimming!!! my family does that too. we have a tradition of dressin up as santa as we hand out the presents to the little kids, and sadly i was santa this year
The night before we eat tamales for dinner and go to the night mass. Then we have Mexican bread and Mexican hot chocolate. Christmas morning we have jumbo cinnamon rolls sat overnight in a cream sauce(?) before baking. We also (try to) wear matching pajamas. After breakfast we gather to open presents.
oh ms. believer and now csty
We do Christmas indeed
like cheese cat iām in new zealand, what we usually do is at about halfway through christmas day, my family, my nana and pa and some of my cousins meet up at a house, then we kinda hang out, go in the pool if the house weāre at has one then we have sausages and meat and stuff for dinner and we have pavlova for dessert
although i have other grandparents who live in aussie so we might go there for christmas
we dont really celebrate. i mean we eat christmas food and decorate the house but we have no other traditions
Every Christmas Eve go to my aunt and uncleās house to open some family gifts. Then we go home we watch Christmas vacation in my parents room and pass out on the floor, then wake up at like 5 am on Christmas Day to open presents. Then have Christmas dinner later on that day
i eat too much then feel depressed that i am once again alone and miserable
We dont celebrate Christmas but wanted to go to Toronto together over the break. Covid is bad and dumb again, though, so instead we're having a cooking competition at home which is fun
We might make it a tradition
The first time I celebrated Christmas since 2009 was last year
But the holiday is bittersweet for me. I love buying gifts for others but usually they get them after the first of the year because well
They have other things to do on the day.
I guess like
I sorta celebrate?
Kinda
Christmas is a hard holiday for me so I enjoy from a distance
Same with New Years festivities
I mostly just work or sleep on the day of
When I get things worked out I plan on doing Christmas themed cosplays next year
As a way of getting festive. Last year I did Constantine in a Santa hat
I go to church with my family and then add baby Jesus to the Christmas crib
Then we have a big lunch (around 2 hours long) with a traditional menu (foie gras, main course, chocolate « bĆ»cheĀ Ā», and champagne and wines of course) and after that itās coffee time to try to avoid food coma
In the afternoon we exchange many gifts, we talk about it and we thank everyone, and if there is still time we start playing with the toys and trying the other stuff while weāre still together. Itās a very good time and this year two of my siblings couldnāt make it because of work etc so we also facetimed them !
This day is very important to me and to my whole family. We also all dress in a nice way, we use the plates and cutlery etc that only goes out once or twice a year and we clean and tidy the house as much as we can before !

I love this so much
I go hang out with family and watch the polar express every year
I celebrate by opening presents with my family & we gift each other hella money. & then we just watch Christmas movies all day with huge meals. Usually Chinese food š
we usually visit momās side and get a single present on christmas eve and we visit dadās side on christmas day!! iām actually heading home from the dadās end of things rn lol
we also made it a tradition to watch the muppets christmas carol every christmas morning lol
i dont celebrate xmas but i like to give gifts around now because several friends of mine celebrate yule
technically in my religion theres an observance i could celebrate around now but we tend to do most of that stuff earlier in the year, the next most significant thing for me to celebrate is in march
this season is v quiet on my calendar as for celebrations
I tried taking a picture of the Christmas lights for ya, every year 3 streets in the city compete for best lights and people can drive through. It's pretty but the picture sucks lol
my mom and I always make french toast souffle and we have that for breakfast, then we open presents! then we chill as a fam, have late lunch with my grandparents and uncles and aunts and cousins, then we do stockings :)
i dont celebrate christmas...BUT i do celebrate diwali
We sit in the living room and eat weird stuff but I don't eat that stuff so I only eat a bit of bread being bored. Then at some point we give each other presents. Yeah, that's all but I don't like amything of it
I can't really figure out any consistencies between my holidays tbh we used to visit various relatives' houses and have dinner but it's all a mess now
kind of interesting that way maybe but traditions are probably cool to have
kind of off topic, but during diwali my cousins come over and after prayers we play that one diwali song on that episode of the office at MAX volume lmao
For my family, on Christmas Day our dad tries to get everyone awake at 8. Instead, heās awake by six, Iām up by 7:30, and my sister isnāt conscious until 9 or 10. We usually go to church on Christmas Eve because we are Catholic, so we break out the cinnamon rolls and bacon and eat them as we open presents
hey hey french christmas over heeere. me tooo. for me, depends on which family side i celebrate christmas (father or mother side). this year we opened the presents after the midnight mass (which doesn't really happen at midnight nowadays but sooner). but the tradition is to open presents after the birth of jesus which happens at the midnight mass basicaly. from my father family, after the biiiig dinner with plenty of luxuous french food, we finish the night gathering and listening a funny Christmas tale eating sweeties (which were rare in the past). The tale is funny because it describes the birth of jesius from the provencal point of view with the very strong accent from the south of france. it's like a parodia of the nativity. and yey we dress classy š merry christmas everyone even if sometimes gathering in family is not always pleasant kisseees

that sounds lovely
I celebrate christmas like any other day, I open up discord and regret my life decisions, then I eat some turkey with my crumbling apart family. Then I write some cards to gift to them on the next day. Then I go to sleep and hope for santa to come but nobody comes, like always, nobody comes.
That's sounds...
I just celebrate with family and stuff
merry christmas
