#is the server better without fm?

NO.
but actually yes
decent argument could be made for both sides
hot take, fm should be an ability you can only buy after like level 100
then give me it.
buy it
ew no
fm is a command reserved for staff only
incentive to be staff
we get paid in the fm ability
make it something that fbs can buy
should be at least given to fbs
if i wasnt staff and couldnt use fm i would come to the server less often which is a blunt way to say it but thats just me personally
yeah itd me cool if fbs had !fm perms
although idk how they would think of it im not an fb
hand it over
i want fm back let the fbs have it🤲🏽
real
bring it back
me too
everyone should have it
what were the fms?
fm perms for the cool people pls
I wasn't here before those were taken away...
people would be spamming it in the middle of convos i dont miss it
the only thing i liked was that it was a quick way to block out weird or bad posts from ppl
basically just the /fm now command but it was !fm and people could do them anywhere
now its only in commands
yea
and thats lame
i think it should be brought back in #music at least 😁
actually i lied nvm i think it shouldn’t be brought back
yeah!!!
i literally talk here less
because i cant fm
idc about fming
yall gonna hate this but maybe not in dd cuz its not as active a channel as the others
maybe im an outlier but fm too me didnt really add a whole lot to the server, it wasnt very interactive outside of starring fms, but mostly i think everyone was just fming for themselves and not really looking at other peoples fms, like once someone fmed or weekly-ed in a general chat everyone else would for a while, and music was just a nonstop stream of fms with not very much actual discussion
most of the time no one gave a shit about what was being fmed so it was kinda spammy a lot of the time. i don’t miss it
WRONG.
yea i think fbs should have it at the very least
i gave a shit
i gave very many shits abt the music people were listening to bc i was always curious and then if i found someone listening to smtthn i like we could talk abt it and it was fun🥲
yea i enjoyed that. i just didnt like when it got spammy. i liked connecting over music tho ,, like thats how i became close friends w someone
yeah i always looked at what ppl were fming and i would reply whenever i saw someone listening to a banger and now i cant do that and it makes me sad
ogs remember in like 2019 when i would tell everyone in hometown to fm so i can let them know if their currently playing is valid or not and i would do that like every day for months instead of paying attention in class
and yeah it was the easiest way for me to get to know people and bond over music since yk this is a music server
i think itd be good for fbs to at least have it
make fm great again
people complain abt that too
That doesn't show my artist, album or track plays 🙄
And it's too much work I'm a lazy bitch
exactly what vipin said💪🏽
pls let me fm
no
I voted yes and no because I really miss it in #music
Conversation there may have improved a bit with good recommendations but it also slowed down a lot, I used to meet people and discover some songs/artists thanks to fm
Now being able to use it in command is pointless imo
It would make sens to have a extra channel just to talk about music you’re currently listening to
Also the command takes a little more time to send now and I’m not sure it gives you points so people might spam it less ?
i wanna flex my superior music taste on people
what if there was just a special channel where people could spam fm
like how music used to me
be
let me introduce you to ✨ #470331990231744512 ✨
fm spam isnt fun talking about what ur listening to is
luckily i still get to use fm myself and i get to use aotw but one less way for people to talk ab music when it was a big thing that brought ppl back is understandably frustrating
i enjoyed doing it, but i didn’t really like that it broke up chats. it rarely was used to start or add to a conversation imo. people would just hop in a chat, do it, then leave. i genuinely think it keeps conversations more cohesive, because of less interruptions and such.
