definitely, and i think hobo johnson in his latest two albums while some of them sound stupid as fuck, they still sound like he knows what hes talking about (atleast to my dumbass) and hes pretty educated. but the music is still ass.

yeah its definitely more than that lmao i was exaggerating, but i do think the way grandson conveys those messages are kinda dumbed down, particularly the song We Did It stuck with me as being really surface level and uses buzz phrases and sarcasm to drive home a really weak and general idea

okay to explain the song in short, he explains how humans evolved from fish at the bottom of the ocean to humans having smoochy smoochy time and mashing parts till they get a baby, and then they get a consciousness, and then he says religion was started as to not be afraid of death but it causes conflict in the world, so to resolve the conflict government is made, but that causes even more conflict obviously, and then trump comes along, he says hes orange and hes chubby and has sausage fingers, he then says he argues with kim, they start bickering like children, and so they bomb each other and destroy the world till eventually all humans are dead and then cockroaches repeat that same thing, mashing body, religion, government, cockroach-trump, cockroach-kim, then they nuke each other but with giant boots

basically its just a story about how the world ends with trump and kim fighting till cockroaches evolve and repeat that cycle but with boots as nukes
