my fav tradition is first footing - a new years tradition rather than christmas but still holidays. you go to your friends/familys houses with gifts as soon as the clock strikes midnight on new years, usually symbolic but also just regular gifts. the origins are some historical thing about warding off bad luck. it's a scottish tradition, and if there's anything we do great, it's NEW YEARS 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
