when tøp would tour here around august (PEAK SUMMER), i would make sure to hydrate the day before i camp because i know it would be insanely hot. it helps to hydrate days before to prepare yourself

when i did the paint for alt ego i used snazzaroo, but i also did it before i drove out to LA so most of it rubbed off before i even got there, but i got mehron creme paint this time im gonna test out and i can let you know

i’ve heard people reccomend oil based paint i think? and i think whatever tyler used was also oil based, snazzaroo is water based so any form of water will rub it off and make it run so probably
not super great for long term esp if your sweating unless you can seal it properly (lol i didn’t know how) , cause oil doesn’t really react that much to wayer

stay hydrated and energized. standing on your feet for so long can drain you of energy so fast- rest while you can. drink water, eat lots of carbs if you want energy.

charge your phones. this very important for emergency contact. on the same note: if you see something, SAY SOMETHING. don’t let any harassment or robbery go unnoticed.

if you need to go to the bathroom, GO. as someone with chronic bladder issues i emphasize this A LOT. make friends with the people around you or have someone “save your spot” if need be and go to the bathroom. holding pee isn’t fun and i don’t want more cups of pee thrown 💔

STAY WARM. i know it’s a lot warmer than some other places, but that doesn’t mean it can’t still be cold. buy a couple hand warmers at a gas station or layer up. put your hand warmers in your shoes if you must- heat circulates better from your feet anyway. the crowd may heat you up, but it’s better to layer up and be able to remove clothes than be sweating to death in everything!!!

also mosh pits of any genre tend to happen in the middle of the crowd and sometimes a bit closer to the stage. if you do not wish to mosh or be part of a large mosh pit, stand off to the side. some small ones may form as well, be aware of that

basically! it’s easier to ask for ur spot to be saved then leave when it’s between sets and towards the beginning of the festival. once mumford and sons comes on, it’s really hard to leave and come back to the same spot
