City walls is so freaking epic in the way its executed, the mood shifts of the song and just the way it draws everything to a close is so epic, the only complaint i might have about it is that the intro buildup sometimes sounds a bit strange with the way they did the "yeah yeah yeah yeah"s but it's a masterpiece honestly
Overcompensate is amazing as well its so hype but city walls all the way through is dramatic and is such an epic climax but overcompensate is kind of more chill so it really depends which you prefer

Okay, heres my interpretation of it:

I think it very much reminds me of the lighning line in implicit demand for proof "strike me down, I am calling your lightning, down from your dark hiding place" where Tyler asks God to hurt him, strike him down as proof. Here I think he is saying that their fight (his fight with faith and therefore God) is just like the lightning strike he was looking for, but it happens at the same time as another strike leading him to question if it was intentional or not (circumstantial proof part) so he suggests that he try his own way of life without faith but him and God both know how that goes and that they should just come together.

Thanks! It occured to me when I was thinking about the whole Clancy becoming Nico thing and finally realized that while we know exactly what Clancy and Nico represent, I havent seen anything nearly as concrete about the torchbearer and then them representing god was the first thing that came to me. I'd love to hear any other ideas though
