As a religious person, both songs hold a lot of meaning to me. Tally, Downstairs and Center mass as well. I do think that it is important for people to find their own meaning in their songs. Before I become a Christian I still loved TOP just as much and held very different but just as meaningful thoughts and feelings on their music. After becoming Christian it was like my eyes opened to the truth in Tyler’s words and a whole new world opened up for me. Drag path feels like a conclusion to the years of crying out and begging God to help him that Tyler has done in his music. It’s no longer “Entertain my faith”, now it’s, “I have faith, I trust you, you found me and I’m safe” and it breaks me every time I hear it
