I absolutely love both these songs, but I have a soft spot for Cut My Lip, and I'd like to share my thoughts on it. To me, Cut My Lip is perfect for what it needs to be. The lyrics are (in my opinion) about repeated self-destructive behavior, and the instrumentation matches that with its dark atmosphere and hypnotic sounds. The song doesn't vary much, but instead feels unchanging, which seems to reflect the vicious cycle. Jumpsuit has more variety and is probably a better song overall, but Cut My Lip is special in how small it feels, if that makes sense. Like you're trapped.
