HOTY has such insane rap verses and that awesome pre-chorus, and the bridge with the buildup and the iconic rap verse that all culminates in the end. While trees is amazing, HOTY is easily my favorite Vessel song

I am of the extremely unpopular opinion that Tyler’s rapping throughout Vessel is very subpar; so while a verse may be iconic I think both rap verses are legitimately a detriment to the song

I also think the ‘lean with it rock with it’ part is cool, but far too repetitive

especially after ‘entertain my faith’ having been repeated enough times prior

it drags the second half of the song out

however the prechorus is fantastic and it is produced very well

I can understand that but the instrumentation gets more full with every repetition of the line so it keeps my attention
