succinct and to the point!

but I would add that point of the contract between Clancy and TB was probably to use Clancy as a weapon to change the momentum of this war (because Clancy's got the power of seizing)
if the passing of the jacket is a passing of Clancy as a title then it happened before the Paladin Strait battle
as the last letter from Clancy to TB where he expresses overconfidence
Clancy partially fulfilled his role as a weapon and defeated 7 bishops but Nico succeeded in capturing him (BROKE YOUR CONFIDENCE tweet from Blurryface)
during smearing Clancy had a mental breakdown and remembered that he promised TB a contract - to be a weapon in exchange for — what? we don't know yet what TB offered Clancy in return
for me in the last letter Clancy actually betrayed TB by doing things in his way (breaching the contract) but then he came back and now ready to fight Nico

I still wonder whether "the deal" and "the contract" is the same thing.
Could "the contract" be the promise to "destroy them or be better than them"?
