Sounds typical for parents, they didn't have these kinds of things. Be patient with him. Try your hardest to let him process the info before asking again (ask and then leave him a day or two to think of it, have EVERYTHING pre planned so he know you have a plan and backup plan in case of anything) he will appreciate the organization and hopefully lean towards yess

I'll get a vinyl every now and then, I have a nice record player in my hi-fi stack, and I do like the sort of slow methodical nature of putting on a record to listen to. But yeah, my car has a CD player and my stereo has a 6-CD changer with magazines and it's just easier. Plus CD packaging can get way weirder than vinyl packaging ever does.

I actually got bummed out about Breach cause for some reason I had it in my head the ink on the CD was red not yellow and when I pulled it out of my CD player and it was yellow my initial thought was not that I was wrong, but that they had went with temperature reactive ink for the first pressing edition. ( kinda like what NIN did with Year Zero )
