it sucks that the show was only an hour but budwiser has done this before and states that those are the rules if something like this happens and the band themselves does not choose to cancel

my mom and brother saw a show at budwiser years ago that got cut short down to an hour due to storms and no refunds were issued, only online store discounts from the band itself. so it isn't a new thing either.

there's also a few smaller venues like the history and danforth music hall which are really really nice ga only shows!! ive seen waterparks at both venues and they're both great!!

The storm (or at least a lot of rain to begin with) was originally set to hit Saturday night, about a week before. It wasnt til 2 or 3 days before that it moved from Saturday night to Sunday night.

I believe it wasn’t supposed to hit until later Sunday though so they would’ve been fine but I think as it changed they had to pivot. I get it sucks for a lot of people but I think the band did the best they could given the circumstances and they definitely pushed to do more than the venue wanted them to so they could put on as much of a show as they could. As for the people who showed up late, I think it’s def a lesson learned to not always skip openers esp at an outdoor show 😅

It’s totally valid to be upset about it but there’s a lot that goes on behind the scenes to make those decisions and unless they say anything it’s really all just speculation, and tbh they might not be able to say much

I've been talking about this to my boyfriend and my mom ever since I left the concert... It's like, I paid attention during the show, fully enjoyed it, and now I can barely remember much. I remember they played it but I don't have like physical memories of what it sounded like or what Tyler and Josh did and said. I've been in a huge depression funk ever since the half cancelled show happened. That makes me feel better. I've been overthinking my own reaction to the show. It was my first tøp show ever and I feel like I should be happy I saw them but I've been so down in the dumps since it ended. I can't even feel happy and listening to their music right now makes me even more sad. I've been feeling like something is wrong with me. I love them dearly... And.. I feel like many things are dampening my memory and experience. My earplugs for example, blocked out so much sound, and I could hear my own voice in my own head so loudly that I didn't even want to sing out loud because all I could hear was myself. It sucked. I used the loop experience 2 so I don't know why I had a bad time with the ear plugs. Ugh. Just so much sad. Sorry for dumping this all onto you.

Yes to this too.. like I spent months preparing for this concert, talking about it every day, imagining what it's going to be like and making my custom outfit , and spending 4000 dollars on the whole show, and when the time came, I was half sick, extremely sleep deprived, and my earplugs made the sound so muffled it hurts my heart to think about it... And now it's over and I'm just so sad.

once your brain comes down from the hype of the show and your brain starts to process you're no longer waiting for the excitement things will start to clear up a little more. i don't remember a lot of segments even from shows i had barricade at because you're just so lost in the moment.

as much as people preach to not be glued to taking photos and videos i honestly feel like i would have forgotten a lot of important parts to my shows if it wasn't for me deciding to take a photo or video of a specific visual, or a specific moment

like when i saw twenty one pilots last year, i took a video of the next semester visuals because i thought they were so extremely cool and added an extra layer of the show. and because i remembered it from last year i was able to take another video of it this year!!
