there are a lot of people upset who didn't get to the venue before 8:45 and although i understand the frustration, there's a level of preparation theatres like this take especially for travel. you gotta anticipate for any type of weather for outdoor venues

ive had lots of people see delayed shows at budwiser because of rain and/or storms and nothing was ever done about it afterwards because the show itself was still played

i think at most they got like a discount online or something??

and even if the band wants to do more in reality they don't have too much control over it. its what ticketmaster / budwiser can do without losing money unfortunately

another thing to add too, and i know it really sucks to hear because of how frustrated people are, but there's going to be no refunds because the show still happened, your ticket was still used + the show will more than likely not be rescheduled because theatres typically close in october or so especially here in canada. i doubt they'd find time to squeeze a show in to come back until next tour

everything is out of the band's control and the most they could have done was still put on an amazing show which they did even if it meant cutting it short

I’m definitely curious logistically what this looks like for Tyler and Josh — were they given the options of “cancel with no refunds” or “play a sped up version of the show so the fans at least get something”

Or was it more like “cancel and give refunds” or “play a sped up version so the fans get something and we don’t have to issue refunds”.

Mostly I guess I’m curious if cancelling outright would’ve allowed them to give refunds out, because if so that likely would’ve ultimately been the better option—or hell if they had an option to cancel and reschedule it for a later date.

I guess it’s hard to say right now—and who’s to say there’s even open slots available where they could reschedule if given the chance, especially if they are trying to finish before Josh and Debbie’s kid is born

With the venue being a “rain or shine” venue, and non existent option C: lightning is what happened, I’m super duper curious what that looks like behind the scenes.

I can’t imagine they’ll reschedule for this tour tbh if they played a partial show. Anything is possible but it would probably be pretty tough to do it on the fly with the logistics.

They probably played the partial show knowing that there were a lot of people who travelled pretty far to be there and would have rather seen even the half show rather than no show and lose out on a ton of money only to fully miss out.

It was more or less ok but the line management was horrible, past the bridge it went into a parking lot, started spiralling in on itself and started splintering into like 5 different lines from one and when we told them they said they couldn’t send anyone to manage it because the parking lot was private property, but they were letting people get to that point there
