There is a really AMAZING hardcore scene in Illinois. If you enjoy a good show for cheap, start looking into Hardcore shows. Usually 30-100 people $10-$25 per ticket. Really nice. Favorite Illinois small band of mine is Payasa.

uh i didnt see a pond but we got there right at 6, there was like the free parking and stuff then the double merch stand out front and the doors right next to that? idk if that helps any but maybe i missed a pond idk, but like there were a buncha lines and stuff but by then doors had been open for a while so the line wasnt long and the guy was snappy and the girl there had a yellow bucket with a bunch of red and yellow tape and some glowsticks and joked about me adding to her stash and then was nice about the mini washi tapes
