same here. i went alone for the first time last year and even though it was a little scary, i think it’s helpful to talk to people around you (in line or wherever you’re sitting) and just enjoy sharing the mutual interest in tøp! everyone i’ve ever met at a concert is SO friendly and so excited to be there, and if you just focus on how thrilled you are the fear really does just melt away

i was in columbus last year so this may not apply (since i’m not sure what the tinley park venue will be like) but while waiting for the concert to start, i also enjoyed walking around the venue a bit. if you’ve got seat tickets then i would make sure you go to the bathroom before you sit down because it could be a bit difficult to get back out depending on where you are, but regardless of everything just remember you’re there to have fun!

(also if you have less fear about being around people just plainly and more fear about getting sick, start taking some extra vitamin C this week if you can to boost your immune system for next week)

Another thing I feel I need to tell everyone is it’s a concert so sing and dance as much as you want to! Concerts are a place so many people feel at home and for me personally, they are my happy place. I hope you have the best time!!

From what I’ve seen about past shows in tinley doors open around 5:30/6 so the opener probably starts around possibly 7! Also if you want to get merch give yourself some time to do that too!

Yeah the lines can be crazy but regardless once you're in there you forget and it's the best show ever. But yeah I'm not sure if they're doing the same thing they did today in Cincy and last year in Chicago with the 500 wristbands(provided by the venue) and it's first come first serve and then once you have it you get to go home and then reform line according to the number on wristband at a later time. Hoping they do that for our show too if not we'll probably have to wait long 😅 either way, it's a small pit and it's going to be fun no matter what cx
