#Paladin Bird Chirps

Like why wouldn't it just be a regular ass rectangle of noise
Doesn't make it significant but I wanna know why the creator made it like that
What is the point of reflecting it in multiple places instead of simply creating it the correct size and making it a single image in the first place
Tyler Joseph you better help us
Actually wait no it's Tyler Joseph he loves to make everyone's lives complicated
I think you guys are just lightening it- if you go in and adjust the levels to where there is a spike (I don't know how else to explain it) this is what you get. I have read, though, that red on black can be difficult to read so putting some gray and noise in where the writing gets small would make sense.
Somehow I see Dema left and right
I love this thread bc we’ve discussed so many different things in it
Right? I love coming back here to see what’s new.
Another out there idea about birds- Colors and vultures seem to go together on dmaorg (formatted as div class 3). the very last post on dmaorg- the one that has the code- “fly by” says - “I can recruit everyone with eyes that see beyond the horizon.” The only way to see beyond the horizon is to be high in the sky- like a bird. The name of this file is “__claim_00FFFF.jpeg”. Is cyan the color of the sky? Does the next step involve recruiting birds?
Yes having 00FFFF in the file name is a very curious development.
It looks like it's a website link
I can see what looks to be a CO either m or an n
I think we are just delusional 😭
Woah
I want to believe! But…I’m not seeing anything.
I don't see anything on the green one but I can almost 100% see something on the gray one
i see the com
Here it is with what I see marked. May not be anything substantial, just making sure that I’m not the one having hallucinations.
wait yo no that looks so clear
I think it says contract
is that all of the bird section?
This is something else but the bird section itself is complicated
its bound to have spots that look like lettere
what’s this then?
there's another D
Thanks !
I wasn't the one that brought it in here so I'm not the best one to ask
I'm the one who brought it in - I don't think there is anything in there, though. If anything I thought it might be an overlay or underlay that made something more visible. I now think it is likely just to make the red text on black background less straining on the eyes. I was down a rabbit hole about how birds see an extra color channel and trying to replicate it.
I do think you're onto something with that though
That day I posted it in here was when blurryface posted “use dto see,” and I thought maybe digital tetrochromacy optimization was a thing and there was some goggles we could buy or a filter we could slap on an image to see all the secrets of breach 🤣
No you're actually onto something though because the birds aren't nothing and they're pretty relevant throughout Clancy
I don't know if I'm articulating what my brain is thinking right but
Has this shirt always been called the back to back eagle t? Have they talked about eagles? https://store.twentyonepilots.com/products/back-2-back-eagle-t-shirt?_pos=1&_sid=c8c6c88e6&_ss=r
I think you just created a plot element for some futuristic comic series.
Good! I hope someone runs with it and takes my crazy idea and draws pictures of it. So it’s not all for nothing. lol….
Have all the birds been identified? Someone on reddit posted this, and the app they used identified two birds that weren't in marked in the spectrogram
I def see this
a birder friend of mine said he heard red eyed vireo and cardinal
not a confirmed id but it does have very interesting lore implications
Josh having red eyes, and cardinals both being all red and having a close connection to bishops
Yeah I think so I think it's always been called this
I think some of those can be added, the app itself just changes a lot because the bird sound isn’t isolated entirely.
It’s been so… quiet 💔
It really has, but I honestly needed a break from birds and pixels
Valid
Omg I was gonna come in here the other day and say that. Haha. I miss this thread.
holy shit going crazy over birds
Has anyone here listened on the vinyl specifically? I heard what I thought might have been slipping but honestly sounds like it might be Morse…
I just stumbled across this thread and you guys dug up one deep of a rabbit hole 😂 it’s really impressive!
As I didn’t read everything, did you try to analyze the chirps by species? The house sparrow is the only one that is chirping the whole time, but as some of you already said the cardinal might be more important.
Sorry if that was brought up before!
Also, I think when I listen to it with headphones, the right and left sounds are very different. Is there a way to separate left and right audio track? Maybe only the chirps that are played on both sides are important, or only something that is not on both (hope that makes sense)
I'm not sure if anyone listened to the vinyl specifically before.
There was definitely a talk about the different birds. The main problems were the overlapping chirps and maybe how some birds only chirp once? (again I don't fully remember.)
I remember somene bringing that up and I think they began splitting the sounds, but I'm not sure if it went further than that.
There are clear spectrogram from the songs in the beginning if you want to go back and look at it. I can also maybe find them again if anayone wanted them.
The clear ones of just the audio don’t have the weird line cutting in and out that I noticed on vinyl
Paladin Bird Chirps my beloved
The right and left can be isolated for sure but I am not set up for that right now. But you could easily use left/right channel volume or panning, depending on the software and just render out a new version and then do it with the other side and you would have a file for each channel.
Hi everyone, btw! Nice to see some activity in here.
Hi (:
Hi
Ayy
so i know you guys have been going a little crazy in here but I just listened to good day and noticed there are birds are all throughout the song. Wonder if that at all relates to the birds throughout clancy in some way.
You are definitely right about that. Good catch!
I would say that, in this thread, all birds are worth investigating.
I’m starting to wonder if it’s more of a question of what is the symbolism represented here than if it’s a code of some kind.
Like, what is Tyler’s deal with birds in general? lol.
I mean the first big song associated with birds is gone which is him on the verge of suicide. maybe the birds represent him at the edge of either taking him or of a general backslide in his mental health. because good day could be seen as him coping and compensating for everything going wrong and trying to reassure everyone everything is fine while really he is not fine. and in paladin its him deciding to risk himself to stop the bishops as an act of potential self sacrifice
I am not as fine as I seem!
I like the idea mentioned that the bird sounds represent a moment of silence and transition. With everything happening in the lore, it makes sense that they pause and play it fully right before Clancy faces Nico. It’s like everything cuts away and gives him a brief moment of isolation, a chance to reflect on what he’s about to do. It feels like his last quiet moment before everything changes.
It also fits with the idea of the calm before the storm, before the fight with Nico and the bishops. Especially since Breach seems to have a heavier sound, this feels like the final pause before the chaos. Clancy is at the point of no return. Nico is trying to seize his mind, and everything is about to fall apart.
So overall, maybe symbol of his last moment of peace before everything begins/ends.
I don't know just some food for thought
I didn’t know they did the silence and birds at Clancy tour, that’s wild
I could be remembering this wrong, but doesn't Vignette have birds? (maybe just in the MV? IDK) That would fit this theory.
i know it has the hawk screech in it, but i can't remember if there is more of the top of my head
Yes at the end of the MV. I brought this up quite a way back in this thread and I think that the only conclusion from it is that there are just a lot of birds. Which is why the overall symbolism comes into question. The placement of them, the different species, etc could all mean something. Or…it could all just be nothing. lol. Knowing Tyler, it isn’t nothing. But what is it?
I’m from the Midwest, all of those birds are fairly local. It could be the familiarity or even recorded locally.
They literally have seen the streets you’re walking down. They’re fairly local, good people now…
Ya know, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh!
It’s crazy, we are close to a large forested park area and there are just tons of varieties. I have always enjoyed watching birds. It’s very relaxing, but I really watching how graceful they are in flight. The thought of that kind of freedom would be amazing, just pick up and fly away.
Soaring is what appeals most, birds that can soar maintain flight without wing flapping, using rising air currents. Birds are often seen as symbols of freedom, perspective, and transcendence. They can represent the ability to rise above challenges and gain a broader view of life.
I understand what you mean. I live near the beach in the LA area and I often sit atop the cliffs and watch the pelicans as they maneuver along just above the surface of the water. It all seems so effortless and graceful. Reality is they are looking for fish to murder but still. It’s majestic.
That is cool how close they can get to the surface. I lived north of you for years in Ventura County. I miss the coast sooooo much!
I love Ventura County. I lived up in Santa Barbara for like 4 years.
Camarillo for me
Nice. I bet you do miss it. I spent some time in Illinois northwest of Chicago and I enjoyed it. It was nice. But I did miss the coast the whole time.
literally live there bro it’s so beautiful here 🙏🙏
I love SB! I miss the giraffe with the crooked neck at the zoo.
i know i was so sad when he passed 😭
Omg I took a pic of that giraffe years ago. He was so cool.
It’s so quiet in here that you can barely hear the birds chirping.
Tyler's notebook and pencils... man is obsessed with birds
Thought I should add this for fun and more birds
the bird chirping is just a regular recording tyler did outside his house (you can hear ro in the background at one point)
*The child scream we spent time analyzing *
WOAH
Hey, I just stumbled upon this reel I thought is interesting in the context of spectrograms. Don’t know if this is new to anyone here (I don’t know stuff about it) but it shows how someone draws something in a spectrograph and plays it back to a starling, which then copies the sound.

Woah
How’s my fam doin
WE ARE SO BACK
So I couldn’t help but notice all the bird sounds in Jenna’s post today, along with the owl decor on their deck. Plus, the band account posting “look up.” Lots of bird business. And we never saw anything come of clancy’s falcon leash. Unless it’s just decor he’s wearing.
oner
What if it's the first letters for words? "Nico? I see exits..." or something like that?
N for Nico?
@shadow nimbus
Okay I know I'm a little bit late but what if it was for Nova
brother was a year late...

When I saw this I remembered this thread... good times
Been using the @merlin.bird.id app while taking walks through the neighborhood. It’s very impressive and still works even when a car drives by.
