Becoming a fan :)
Other people finding them and having peole to share the love
it's so hard to pickkkkkkk
That video of Tyler dancing on the set of the heavydirtysoul music video shoot
the rollout of the release & emotional roadshow hehe
First time knowing of the band (was 1st time hearing stressed out on the radio and staying awake to hear the replays at nights)
Joshler fanart/ jk
I discovered TOP thru my “friend”, they refused to play anything else, we ended up disliking each other but I’m still thankful for him playing ride that one day (i dont have any other memories from this time LMAO 😭)
probably like Ride. Stressed Out and Heathens getting mass popular
Clancy's Dema outfit
duh ers
real
that one like a dark guy still in Dema
i was nine but i had the time of my fucking life
ME TOO
i was barricade and held josh for trees
Lit being like 8 or 9 and discovering Ride and Stressed Out in the radio of my parent’s car
found the band through my dads friend he was here yesterday actually he was going to the ers show and was like yo wanna come so we came
When my dad showed me stressed out
Shall i say again the dr Blum fall away. Ok sorry il think of another one cuz I said that last week, I think when Tyler and Josh tattooed there names on eachother, I’m pretty sure that was during thr blurryface era correct me if I’m wrong tho
Finding the band
these are really good ones
Josh with red hair, and finding the band after my mom played my 3rd favorite song, Lane boy.
unfortunately a while after the concert i forgot about the band until 2020 but its fine bc i skipped the entire hiatus
When me and my best friend filmed, edited and posted our own ”Stressed Out” music video 😭🙏🏻 It’s so bad but so funny and ambitious for being made by 12-13 year olds
i used to listen to the popular songs wnd hds with my older sister a lot
Waching stressed out for the first time
That song gives me a lot of nostalgia now
Good times
This question is such bias against ppl who weren’t fans during Blurryface era
Listening to stressed out on repeat 24/7
Them getting recognized for being a genuinely good band
you can still have favorite moments of that era, because there's lots of content out there and even if you watched it 10 years later, you can still have favorite moments, maybe just discovered them later
I didn't know them at the time
I think it was just watching the music videos for the first time
Cause I wasn’t that obsessed with the band at first
But I still liked stressed out
And I kinda went down a rabbit hole
How I look at everyone who joined the fandom after Blurryface:/j/silly
When they won a Grammy in 2017 🗣🗣
being a kid and feeling okay
josh
childhood
arm tattoo
Playing the album on repeat at night as a kid
first time experiencing the band as a kid and jumping in the never ending loophole
hearing stressed out be played by my older siblings so much and watching the music video millions of times
Watching the music videos for Stressed Out and Ride for the first time and thinking "damn, that guy really tattooed his neck and hands black"
(First time hearing them)
Lol
HAMSTER BALLLL
Getting the album (blurryface) on cassette and playing it in my family's old truck every time on the way to the natural springs
Sitting in my brother's bedroom listening to it for hours
Bro had all the best music at the time
I loved how ALL MY CLASSMATES who didnt even like alt music started listening to it and I got curious so I listened too!!!
When ride and stressed out were everywhere
discovering the band through my cousin
100% listening to stressed out on my dad's ipad with my best friend and sister
I remember the judge too
Little me Being super proud that I finally got the stressed out ending rap down.
When my mum introduced me to we don't believe what's on TV when I was like 5
My favorite moment is actually quite specific: in one of the sleepers videos, the boys travel to my home city. When I saw that for the first time, it meant. the world. to me. My home city (as shitty as it is) doesn’t get to be in the spotlight a lot. It isn’t great by any means, but there are some really neat places to explore within it. It’s small, shitty, but has its highlights. I’m so glad that they actually took the time to go and play a show there. When they drove on a road that I had been on countless times in my life, I took a screenshot of the video, and drew what they saw from their tour van: lots of barren trees and a hidden cell tower.
Another fav moment of mine was “it’s possible, but is it plausible?” 😂 and all of their vines. That’s how I first got into them!
their interview moments for sure haha
Literally the best memories for me is their vines around that blurryface era AND learning the handshake from stressed out with my sister
Like when Tyler called that woman out with the basketball? “Are you going to ask us questions now?” 😂
yepp, but i couldn't count how many r there hahaha
The blurryface era was a long time before I became a major fan (I was way younger) but I remember hearing stressed out and ride on the radio and really liking them and I didn’t even know who made them back then
FOR REAL though. There are so many moments where he was sassy with the bad interview questions 😂
i became a fan just after the hiatus//first few singles off trench BUT i caught on pretty quickly haha
also, the blurry accents tyler had ahhh 🫦😮💨
he's so silly
Yeeessss
my first ever twentyonepilots show back in 2016!! The red suits impress me to this day! One of the coolest concert outfits.
spooky jim
Gooooddd I loved those suits 😭
my favourite blurryface era moment would have to be when i had just became a clikkie right in the middle of it in june 2016
and the rest was history...
seeing them in display at the fpe event felt like a full-circle moment at it's finest !!
You are SO LUCKY! I didn’t go to the FPE event!!
forever grateful to have been looking up to tyler and josh for almost 9 whole years of my life 🩷
It was such a good experience
samee!!
Twenty One Pilots has more eras than clancy? crazy
The fairly local mv, esp that one part where bf does that thing w his eyes 💀
Same!!!!
First time listening to stressed out on the radio with my mom and sister
I don't really know much about blurryface because I joined the fandom during Trench but I do know about hamster Tyler
Hamster Tyler>>>>>>
alas i was not a fan yet 😔 but my brothers and i loved stressed out, it was my favorite song for a while
My favorite moment from that era was first finding out about HDS. I became obsessed with the song, and the rest is history.🤧
OMG YEAH
Since I was a fan from Vessel (👵) it was so cool to see them get the success and recognition I thought they deserved all along
My favorite part of that era was becoming a fan. While that was in 2016 and we were already halfway to Trench. But discovering Stressed Out changed my life.
Also, the Sleepers versions of songs. Sleepers Hometown is in my top 5 fave tøp songs
Unfortunately i was not around, however i love the song “the judge” (it would be really funny if thats not the name of the song because i was too lazy to double check but you should know what song im talking abt anyway)
My dad found the band through House of Gold because he played the uke, so when Blurryface came out, he played it in the car for the first time, and 7 year old me after Hometown just went "I like this"
My Mom took me to Ohio to see them in their hometown right before they went on hiatus. She had gotten pit tickets and its probably one of my biggest core memories. Sometimes it still feels like a dream.
Discovering them for the first time ❤️ also the beginning of the lore |-/
This one and I want them to bring it back
Me singing stressed out in the backseat when I was 7
BLURRYFACE ACCENT
Hearing Stressed Out and Ride everywhere
True
But HDS MV popped on my Youtube main page, clicked on that, cuz 12/13yo me said why not, and it made me a fan
Yess
and it was like 3 minutes after it beeing released, and I was scrolling down for sum shitty minecraft gameplays since it was popular af in Poland back then
Stressed Out was the song i ever heard. And i remember (if i'm correct) when they won a grammy and dropped their pants in the audience. That was them right?
Yup
I'll forever love the whole concept of introducing bf throughout the album, especially in stressed out and fairly local!!
"excuse me... could you please leave"
this.
Omg it was the same way for me except I was listening to heathens and I clicked on their profile and explored further into the band. I remember my sister told me the band name and I looked them up. Life changing decision
idk
my favourite memory of the Blurryface era is the fact that it started it all, twenty one pilots growing in fans and me becoming a fan
being 9 years old
real
twins
Be Introduced about them on the radio for one their songs then learning about them and ending up being a big fan lol
One of my friend who is a huge fan screamed at me "they make a song for Suicid Squad" and i was like, who ? So i checked the group just by curiosity (and he was behind me like : watch or i force you to watch") ... TURNS OUT I'M NOW A BIGGER FAN THAN HIM AHAH
I saw them perform at a mall show!! It was the best part of my 2015!!
Yes
Finding out that Josh and Tyler aren't brothers (i was new to the clique)
idk man i was 6
Finding out about the band
Definitely when I in highs school and I heard stressed out for the first time and started listening to the rest of BF and thought it was trash lol. How wrong I was
Getting a red drum kit as a kid trying to be like josh, christmas 2016 i believe
It was my first concert! ERS 2017
when i was but a wee lad listening to stressed out in the car with my parents but now that ik the lore behind it it sounds way different in a good way tho
Me too!!! Then I went down the rabbithole of their whole discography and I’m still here :’)
I need to stop procrastinating learning the handshake… it’s been over 7 years
grammy undies
Josh
Relearning every single song and album after being reintroduced to Clancy after almost 6 years 😭 (I've been unknowingly listen to them for my whole life)
i was a kid when i heard the song stressed out on the radio, from there ive been a fan for almost 7 years now
Either when I was at my grandparents' pool and telling my family about them for the first time or some of their iconic interview moments (current one being the part when Tyler talks about being in his emo slippers and deciding whether or not to delete a demo).
Watching them perform live at a mall
stressed out getting me into the band, genuinely changed the course of my life for the better
LEVEL UP: You are now level 3!
my pears schizophrenic, but olive oil yeah olive oil yeah olive oil
being able to run to school to talk with my bff and perfect the handshake
