Idk if this counts, but there is a Song called All Too Well by Taylor Swift from originally 2012.

The original Song she wrote was 10 Minutes long, but she had to cut it down before publishing it.

Now, years later, 2021, she released the Full Version of the Song, 10:13min long, and its one of her most popular Songs in her Discography, and already streamed over 1 Billion times - a 10 Minute long song. (And nearly nobody listens to the ā€žShort/Normalā€œ Version now.

So i would say, this 10 Minute original is way better than the original ā€žearly trimmed-down versionā€œ she published 2012.

an early version from bike ride by the brobecks, so the album by the brobecks violent things has some songs rerecorded with updated production so the differ from the original premixes, in most of the cases they're obviously better, better vocals, better harmonies, better production, better in general, but i always liked the bike ride from 2005 (from the brobecks ep) a lot more than the bike ride from the album goodnight and have a pleasant tomorrow (2006) and, well, violent things (2009)
