toxic stone
old flame
eager bone
# unique cliff unironically stressed out too

Stressed out is one of their "safer" tracks, fits more in line with mainstream expectations of music and for a lot of people it's a gentle lowering into the tone of their whole discography. genuinely good starter pick for a song to ease someone in

Has to be chlorine imo. The outro alone makes it worth listening to for new audiences but there's something about the song just scratches that itch for me and a lot of other people too

#

I'd go with Ode To Sleep because it has like everyone TOP aspect. Besides, old TOP is way underappreciated

toxic stone

All of Vessel to introduce them to the style and themes of the band but once I think they're ready we go into Blurryface and I explained THE LORE

Personally, my brother used Jumpsuit and it hooked me up instantly

deft trout
toxic stone
#

I'd too say Holding On To You cuz it shows so much range like rap and angelic vocals and screamo. However I have been successfully given a good impression to others with Routines In The Night and Oldies Station 🤔

narrow rapids
#

i would say overcompensate or ode to sleep because they encompass all the quirks that form the twenty one pilots' uniqueness, they're the perfect way to show in one particular song all of tøp's essence.

Probably Stressed Out if I’m trying to get them to recognize the band, but showcasing talent would be Car Radio or Holding Onto You

Maybe the first 3 songs of Trench if it can be multiple

Depends on the person. If they like heavier songs, into more rock type or metal, then HeavyDirtySoul, Overcompensate or Jumpsuit.

Into pop music? Scaled and Icy, starting with Shy Away, Bounce Man, and Mulberry Street

Ideally I'd show them chlorine, routines in the night, car radio, no chances and heavydirtysoul. But irl level of concern was what initially got me back listening to tøp as I kinda avoided trench when it came out weirdly.

ripe hinge
#

Addict With A Pen

#

bronze ruin
#

Hds bc it suits regular pop sounds and a lot of people are interested in the regular pop songs

I always use Fake you out when introducing it to ppl

ripe hinge

Fake you out is good

Cause it’s like upbeat

#

But also has the darker tones at the end

grizzled acorn
#

Either guns for hands or screen because they have some rap moments but also the softer vibes

narrow summit
#

Probably like ride BECAUSE there’s rap kind of rock pop and his rock scream
Kind of diverse to me

I recently recommended three songs from the band to some friends: one popular, one from the 2018-2021 era, and one new. These were the recommendations:

#

Depends on the music taste of the person I’m trying to introduce them to! I try to show them a song that fits the vibes they like best first, then show them other songs

scenic sand
#

Next Semester or Fairly Local depending on the person hehe

tulip pilot
#

Depends on the person I'm talking to. I introduced it to my mom with Legend, because it's more chill and I knew it would make a good first impression for her. So I guess I would select the song based off the person's taste

errant flame

It depends on the vibes of the person. More than likely Taco Bell Saga, maybe Drown, possibly trapdoor, and vignette

and you're going to listen to all of it because i'm gonna test you on the lore afterwards to make sure that you were paying attention to me

west ridge
#

I think it’s best to use the songs that sound the most fundamentally “Twenty one Pilots”. Which in my opinion would be Heathens, Morph, and maybe holding onto you, and overcompensate. But idk if that’s really accurate. This way they get a feel for what the rest of their discography sounds like (for the most part at least)

#

No RaB or no Phun intended because it’s not on any major streaming services, and who wants to be introduced to a band with a song you can’t even listen to without finding a fan made lyric video or something?

sinful crown
#

i used morph when i introduced them to the band

lilac field
#

Depends on the person cuz if they are chill type then I'd probably say cut my lip or mulberry street. If they're metallic type is say HDS or yk what i mean

successfully got one of my friends into them after having ned’s cozy fireplace on, they asked about it so I showed them the chlorine mv

#

have also used ode to sleep before because it’s like a tøp sampler

rough stump
#

I’ve introduced one of my friends to tøp with the song Migraine
but in general, I might use the song Holding On To You or Bandito

icy wren
#

ode to sleep: it incapsulates the band’s sound and vibes the most out of any song due to its contrasting verses and choruses.

gusty kraken
#

My Blood is the only correct answer here

burnt frost
#

That's tough, because the discography is so vast in genre and scope... I'd probably have to say Guns for Hands, it's pretty much the best description of their style, usually happy sounding music with down to earth and thought provoking lyrics
