the exact copy isnt trying to reinvent anything, and like you said, the clique wants to have access to that on spotify so someone is always going to upload it.

when using elements of existing songs, or lyrics, or the poetry thats already existed without permission. You end up clouding the original project and it’s message.

i think tyler said it best. Do you remember when stressed out got really popular and the fanbase stopped carrying the same energy at crowds when he played it and tyler got insecure about it and changed the lyrics? in an interview after he said that he regretted doing so because that song had already been completed, it already meant so much to so many, it was in his words, “our song” now and he no longer felt like it was his to change.

I feel like if this person was uploading to youtube, a platform thats made to share art like this, it would be different. But this account has mislead so many that people think its tyler.

so my point is, its not taking ownership of being a fanmade creation, its not giving credit to the band, and the fact that it leans in to the mystery of it being “tyler” makes it to be exploitive of the band and its fans

honestly if you really want to collect the whole discog and then some shinies your best bet is to:

1. Do all the quests you can. Once you have them done youre probably going to be missing about a dozen songs.
2. Trade for your missing songs on the market so you actually have all of them.
3. Start saving gems for shinies and then watching the market for when shiny tøp songs go on sale. Your best bet to get them on the market is to trade with other fans with your own shinies. If you just want to buy shinies outright its insanely expensive but a good rule of thumb for tøp shinies is:

Common: 30-50k
Uncommons: 80-100k
Rares: 120-150k
