May 27th 2011 at The Newport. - Why? It was the only time I saw the trio of Tyler, Josh, and Nick perform. I adore what they do as a duo, but having Tyler being able to play live piano, and Nick adding live bass plus backing vocals, really was a great time.

Live from The LC - Why? All of it, all of it was a culmination of the prior four years of work the band was doing and it was beyond amazing. Some of those songs are solidified as those live versions in my head.

?? 2010 ( or 09! ) in front of a Meijer - What?? There was a video on their channel where they were playing a toy accordion I think, and another toy instrument. Standing in front of a Meijer in Westerville Ohio ( the band’s actual hometown ) and I believe they only played Johnny Boy for the video. But it’s silly and great and I love it, and I wish more people could see it.

Even with Twenty One Pilots Newport Columbus May 24. I will never forget seeing him play The Craving for his wife, Midwest Indigo for Ohio, or Oldies Station dedicating it to us, the fans. Oldies station is one of my favorites and hearing his voice slightly break when singing "You're in the crowd at her first dance recital" and everyone together chanting "Push on through" was surreal. And also Hometown was the first twenty-one Pilots song I listened to, my Dad showed me them when I was 10, so getting to hear that live was a huge full circle moment for me. Truly a memorable night and I am so grateful I got to be a part of it.
