#Another theory about the number 25?

Hi everyone, I noticed something really strange tied to number 25. On the DEMA organization site, there are exactly 25 named files (seems too strange to be a coincidence):

1: cla_ncy-988-06MOON_18_-1.jpg (988 06MOON 18) _--__-.

This is really really interesting

#

What exactly does the morse sequence translate to?

#

Just the numbers you laid out?

#

------ --. ---. --- . ------- ---. . ---. ---. ----. --- -. --. . -.. -. -. ----. ---. ---. --. -----. --. ---.

#

Yeah there's definitely two different kinds of dashes, the underscores and hyphens

tight briar
#

(The hashes being unidentified characters)

grizzled mirage
#

I wish it were Morse; I already tried, but nothing. I don't know what it means. The numbers are indicative of the file it was taken from.🥲

tight briar
#

Complete sequence: ______ __. ___. ___ . _______ ___. . ___. ___. ____. ___ _. __. . -.. _. _. ----. ---. ---. --. _--__. __. ___.

#

The weirdest thing to me is the distinction between underscores and hyphens

#

If it is a code, it's a weird one

#

Hmm

faint ledge
#

i've tried cracking the code and come up with nothing 😔 the underscores and hyphens are throwing me off

#

but with the amount of '25s' we've seen i don't think the fact that there are 25 documents on dma org is a coincidence

primal jolt
#

i think the dots at the end of each can be disregarded since theyre required for every file and not part of the name

tight briar
#

This is what it looks like without the dots

#

6 2 3 3 7 3 3 3 4 3 1 2 1 1 1 4 3 3 2 5(?) 2 3

#

Numbers don't seem like much...

#

Idk 😭

primal jolt
#

what if you replace the letters with dots

tight briar
#

Idk, you mean the letters in the original image file names?

#

I feel like that would be a lot

#

Def wouldn't be morse

primal jolt
#

hmm

distant cape
#

I tried using the numbers in this tweet 8,6,13,12,14,1,7
./_______/_./___/__./______/___.
E # N O G # Ø

All of the files are vaild morse code aside from #1 and #6, so if you remove those

8,13,12,14,7
./_./___/__./___.
E N O G Ø

If you remove the files 1 and 6 from the list, and #2 now is #1, it would be this for the numbering sequence
8,6,13,12,14,1,7
___./././__./-../__./___./
Ø E E G D G Ø

Seems like nothing.

tight briar
#

Have we considered that instead of '12' it's just 1 and 2?

#

Ø E E G Ø D G Ø

#

8, 6, 13, 1, 2, 14, 1, 7

#

Still seems like nothing

distant cape
#

yeah that's another one to fiddle with, but I agree. Maybe there is something there but I can't find it

#

text between two underscores makes it italic. Any sequence of letters if you use this knowledge?

#

This will be only characters that have the underscores within the files

Sorry, you guys. Previously, I messed up the order and name of the files. I have now edited the original post, and everything is correct.

tight briar
#

I've made so many mistakes going into researching all this stuff lol SOBMELT

pure bolt
#

maybe it's two or more ciphers, or the numbers are a cipher in itself
have you tried caesar for the letters? that's a pretty common one
or a1b2 for numbers

I’ve been staring at the Clancy files for days- here’s what I’ve figured out that may help or just confuse further. A) Each post has a div class 1-5 as far as how it’s formatted. B) in the xmp metadata for many of the files there are 32 character document ids and all but 2 have 11 (bandito) in the 13th and 14th spots. 4 files share 2 document ids. (This may all be normal for did generation.) c) the first file has an alternate name in the metadata 009 06moon 14. D) the files are each housed in their own folder that has a 12 character name - these appear to be randomly generated.

#

E) the East is up file is missing the eas - it’s named something like t is up. There is an extra e in the file related to Andre Weil se__elf. There may be an extra a in maniac_clay if it doesn’t mean “I am a clancy.”

#

F) I have a spreadsheet for all of these numbers I mentioned and I did a search of it for “25” and the only places- including all of these 12 and 32 character names - that 2 and 5 are next to each other are in the 2nd to last post (024 02moon 25) and in the name of the psychokinesis file from 022 03MOON 18

Very very interesting thanks!

#

I'm still trying to figure out stuff but still no luck, this is what comes up "fixing" the filenames but it doesn't seem very coherent

#

Something odd I noticed is that at least two of the file names can unscramble to relevant words but with one letter left over. For example "_ev-i-Dence.jpg" = "Deceive" with "n" leftover, and "_maniac_Clay.jpeg" = "i am Clancy" with "a" leftover. Maybe not useful, but interesting

#

Also, what if the underscores are separating the numbers rather than indicating them? e.g. "sev_ering__tiez" could be 3, 5, 0, 4 (rather than 1, 2)

faint ledge
#

ooh wait that's a great find

#

are those files the only ones with extra letters? N I A

tight briar
faint ledge
#

i'm still stuck on the inclusion of dashes and underscores in the filenames, they probably each indicate something different but idk what

sage pendant
#

The thing that made me think about that is the fact that the D is capital making it seem like it's supposed to start with that letter

tight briar
sage pendant
#

like how C is capital so therefore a proper noun

tight briar
#

Might be worth looking into other file names with capitals, I'll have a check in a minute!

#

Hmm, the only other one I found that could be anything was 'd_e_atheat_E_rz', but I couldn't find any anagrams for it

#

The best ones still had 3 or 4 letters leftover

#

Idk if anyone else can find better ones tho

sage pendant
#

Hmm yeah not sure where to go from there
