Alright so I'm not as well-educated in the lore as some other people so I need help clearing up my confusion, and if I'm not mistaken, I have a really weird and confusing theory/topic.

So Clancy is on Voldsoy in Overcompensate, right? And the real Torchbearer is still in Trench the whole time? But Clancy needs to cross Paladin Strait to return home. Why does Clancy "navigate" the island in the Navigating music video? And how is Torchbearer there if he's supposedly still in Trench? So either Torchbearer and some banditos made their way to Voldsoy offscreen, or something fishy is afoot. But even then, if they did come to Voldsoy, who is the person Clancy is talking about when he says "making my way towards you," because surely it wouldn't be Torchbearer now. And what does this mean for Paladin Strait's MV???

Again, sorry if none of this makes sense, I just really need someone to confirm or deny what I'm thinking because this could be huge.

So I got a completely different kind of confusion from navigating, when I saw the boys arrive somewhere after coming off of a boat at the beginning of the video I was like oh they must've already crossed paladin and arrived back in trench...

Which would make sense to why clancys able to meet back with the TB, but also clearly something wrong because Paladin Straight the song is clearly before they cross it, so wth is going on? 😭

I did have a thought, I don't have any evidence for this but could it be that the current music video timeline all the way since hds is part of a constantly looping cycle - and that the paladin straight mv will be set at the last time Clancy crosses the straight to break off the cycle and stuff

So seeing him cross it so nonchalantly between the outside video and the end of overcompensate is just something that happens/happened before, and the paladins straight mv will cover the time when it's significant for being the last time?

i still think clancy becoming nico makes more sense than the story looping in that other way you described

because then everything the characters did would have to be forgotten and reversed

But yess I do think there's a possibility Clancy could 'become' Nico in some way, at least I think there's ways they could explore it that would be a good conclusion

Especially since 1. all of trench is a part of Tyler, so he is essentially both blurryface and Clancy and 2. recently tyler and clancy have blended together into the same person (kinda)
