To be fair doors are usually an hour to two hours before the show starts. And doors were supposed to be at 7:30, so that tracks.

But the venue really made everyone stand on the sun-soaked part of the street until that part was in shade and said “everyone come over to this sun soaked part of the street” and made them wait longer.

I also agree with some other fans that like, if the venue was gonna go back on their word about fan lines they shoulda done that at 7am and not 2pm

And charging for water was ridiculous, they had the doors open upstairs before the show started to cool it off, but as soon as it got closer to start time they shut the doors and it got sickeningly hot

I'll be honest here I also had a bit of a hard time. I was caked in sweat before everyone even made it into the venue. Not to mention, the poorly handled FPE event. I got there only an hour after it started (11) and the line was moving slow enough to the point where if I'd stayed, I wouldn't have gotten a good spot in line. I didn't end up getting to go through the event which was a huge bummer but they let me in to get merch. Luckily we came back in time to see them letting the fan line people across the street an hour early, so my group and I filed in when they weren't paying attention and got a decent spot in line by the Subway next to the venue. Of course, being that close to them I was subject to all their drama; they would come over and scream at us to "back the fuck up" and whatnot (I wasn't about to listen to an entitled 20 year old, I would've done it if a security guard told me to). Another decision I had to make was to get in the pit before I got event merch as to get a good spot in line. I was hoping to be able to quickly get it after the show, but totally missed out. Scalpers had already picked over all the exclusive merch and all that was left was the horribly overpriced 85 dollar hoodies. Then of course there was the experience in the pit. I couldn't breathe or sing for very long before I got woozie and had to stop. I could jump for maybe 3 seconds before I had to stop. I couldn't even hold up my phone for very long before I physically couldn't keep my arms up. It really honestly wasn't a great experience from that point of view, but as a die hard fan, I wasn't about to let that experience go to waste. I enjoyed watching them play, but I think if I could do it again, I'd take my time going through the FPE event and getting merch and being more complacent getting a spot in the back of the pit or balcony.

Like looking over everyone's shoulders to see if they had wristbands or something and watching us. It was super weird , they were literally in line behind us then they ended up at the front a couple hours later.. lol... then they bash other ppl for cutting. It was a such a mess 🥲

Lavash Cafe has been getting a boost in sales cause the music video for Lavish, and they are donating it to the local Clintonville Food Bank, they also held a Hummus fundraiser, and are talking about doing the same in October. I think it would be sweet is we could use the reach of the band to boost a local restaurant even more.
