So I just attended the Phoenix show. Epic show. I wanted to get merch. Specifically the white Clancy tour date one. However, my friend suggested because we’d be in the pit that his sister (who was showing up with her boyfriend) get it since she’d be in the seats. So I texted her and asked to buy it for me and I Apple paid her the money and she said she would. So we do the show and after we meet up with her and she tells me she couldn’t get it because she was late. So I have to go the merch line outside. I get there and they’re sold out of it or don’t have it in my size. For anyone going to the Vegas show if anyone could buy the shirt for me? I promise I’ll Venmo or cash app or whatever the cost of the shirt plus shipping to get it sent to my house. Please?

once again i am speaking out about an experience denver n1 with clancy tour! accommodations were denied heavily and my friend suffered a medical emergency. we were in the back of pit, security everywhere, and getting ahold of a medic was like pulling teeth. pilots security 1/5

At Newport Lucky jumped the barrier and ran to a fan when they collapsed and Tyler noticed a bunch of fans trying to get his attention in the middle of pit. So not sure what’s up with what’s been going on this tour. But several of us have also seen him help, so, idk. Obviously doesn’t excuse what’s been said about other behavior they’ve been making. I guess I’m just saying it’s not like they never helped.

The only hangup is groups of people but there are ways around that too, like give the group similar numbers etc. Like have your normal numbered wristbands but have a randomizer on your phone pick the next number, then give the group the next three sequential numbers after what the randomizer picks. Next group, randomize a different number. Etc.

It would make it more fair and eliminate any sort of rush and trampling. Would also make it more fair for people with disabilities since there would be no rush. Then line back up in number order before doors so nobody has to wait outside for 10 hours or more, and no cutting in front of people on the way to barricade (to protect anyone with disabilities trying to get to their spot).

That’s true, but I think they are going to have to realize that it will save all the drama and it’s not like it’s some new invention, other artists have done randomized numbers for pit entry. More “work” up front but they also have 95% of the work done by printing out the 500 wristbands.

I will say that 500 has seemed to be a good number in that people have been showing up after 8am and still getting a wristband. So that’s good. Versus them doing the first 100-200 people. So if you randomize it there’s no rush to be there before 8am, and no need to pre form a line to get the first hundred wristbands or whatever because there’s plenty of them available.

Well the problem with the fan line people is even if the band says not to camp, they insist that’s not what they are doing. Because they are doing “check ins” a few times a day versus actually camping, and doing it just off venue property. That has continued to be their defense.

If you randomize it, it doesn’t matter.

You can camp/check in/fan line for two weeks before the show and randomly be given number 499. And someone who shows up at 8am day of could be given number 4. It’s the only way to ensure people that work/have school/can’t go into the city four times a day 10 days prior for checkins can have a fair shot at barricade or close to barricade.

And showing up 10 hours before the concert to get a randomized wristband is dedicated enough IMO. Doing a fan line 10 days prior doesn’t show dedication, it shows you are fortunate enough either with time/money/remote-work that you can do this. So make it fairer and all is well.

Everyone told one thing (no lines would be honored) and then like a half hour before we were allowed to line up, Lucky marched the fan line over to the doors. Everyone else was like wtf. I just got back from seeing the live show in Dallas (it was AMAZING) and heard the chant for the first time, but I couldn’t actually understand what they were saying haha. Experiencing Trees being performed live was incredible. I’ll never forget it. The fans in the pit chanting didn’t take away from my enjoyment of it at all! It does seem sort of odd to me just because of my perception of the tone of the song, but if Tyler likes it then it must fit with his intentions for the song, so ¯_(ツ)_/ I’m good with it

My main tip would be to get a concert buddy! Having someone there with you (especially someone who's been to concerts before) can be very helpful, and can be very comforting if you're someone who gets anxiety around events like this. I would also recommend getting seats if you can- pit is fantastic, but it can be very stressful, so for a first concert experience I'd suggest getting seats. Overall, have fun, don't be afraid to talk to the people around you (clikkies are super nice at concerts!), and try to stick with people you know, if possible! Super excited you're considering getting tickets 😁

can only speak for myself but given that tyler has played into the chant and even joined in on saying it himself sometimes hes pretty clearly okay with it so i am too, if it was something fans did that he was uncomfortable with it would be a different story and id be against it but hes clearly endorsed it with the inclusion in the clancy album credits and his own participation in the chant during shows.

Here’s why I was in the pit despite my disabilities-

My husband really wanted to do it. And he told me we could plan it and we could do it for both of us to be there. I was hesitant but he pumped me up. So I planned to take medication and I even spent my physical therapy appointments focused on preparing my body for it. The day of the show my husband did everything he could to help me be comfortable. Standing hurt so he would sit and then I’d sit on his lap. He held my arms while I jumped so I wouldn’t get hurt or miss a step. We got the best view, had the best time. I was able to rest off any aches and pains after.

My blood is our song and we danced to it at our wedding for our first dance. We just wanted that experience in the pit. Idk if I’ll ever do it again, but it was incredible to feel as normal as anyone else dancing and singing in the pit

Get out of FPE before 5:30, show up at the wristband line, get into your spot

For GA the line starts forming at 2

So you may be further back in line if you chill at FPE but not too far back

If you are not In the top 500, you get to be 501. It works this way because most shows do not give wristband to people that come after the first five so then there would be no way for you to save your spot line especially if you’re by yourself if you’re coming after 500

When you bought the FPE it said do not worry we’d save your place line and this is how they do that

Hi everyone, I’m really excited to go on the 29th of this month but also kinda nervous. Any tips? I’ve been to a lot of concerts yet all but one have been outdoors, not really sure what to expect.

Planning on bringing ear plugs because I can be sensitive to loud noises and I have a feeling music is louder inside a stadium as opposed to an outdoor amphitheater and such

I will be dressing lighter, shorts and a t-shirt because I expect it to be hot. Not entirely sure where my tickets are because they were a gift so I don’t have access to that info at the moment. Definitely going to have seats rather than standing, I don’t expect to have ground tickets

I like to be very prepared so any tips or things to know going in would be very helpful. I get overwhelmed when I don’t have a plan haha

wristbands is for people who have general admission tickets (pit tickets) and basically serves to save your spot in line, you get the wristband and can leave & come back later before the show starts. Unlike me who happened to have pit tickets but the wristbands were gone super quick (they only hand out 500) & i had to camp all day from 8:30am -7pm, in the hot scorching california sun, got sunburnt & tired but definitely worth it!

This is really far fetched but when I had my concert in Sacramento, I bought merch after the show and they did not have the size I wanted for this zip-up, I got an XL (which is the size I wear for shirts & such) but I much rather prefer a 2XL, if anyone is willing to trade if they have that size sweater? or if someone is going to upcoming shows & could grab me the correct size i'd appreciate it! I can always sell the XL i have as well! ❤️

I’ve been obsessed with Balu Brigada after seeing them opening. I listened to a few of their songs before my concert and I liked the instrumentals, but after seeing them live was a different experience and I wished I could’ve sang along to their songs when I went to my concert 😣

Yes. After I met them both day 1/2 Dallas and then Philly the brothers both gave me hugs and said our goodbyes. I knew I wouldn’t have time after Baltimore to find them(was going straight to NYC for LP) so I said my goodbyes. Them as o was leaving the floor in Baltimore they were randomly meeting fans at the top of the steps so I took a few minutes and went to tell them good by again and they again gave me the sweetest hugs and goodbyes and I’m still like wow

They didn’t get the full fpe line in the building until around 4:00 at my show so you should be okay arriving late, just make sure you get there with enough time to go through the whole thing- I spent about an hour at mine going through security and exploring the exhibit

Or get there realllyyyy early for when it opens and have time to get everything set

(We spent like- 1-2 hours in there it was awesome)

We also had time to spare to eat food and get to the pit line (we had wristbands)

Balu Brigada was fun, I wish the audio mixing was a bit better though the vocals were super hard to make out at my show- noticed the same thing during icy tour with Peter mcpoland where the instruments overpowered the vocals

Yeah all you need is the email and an id that has the same name as the email

It’s inside the venue, you don’t need to scan your ticket. You cannot get into the show though until you scan your ticket at your entry gate

It wasn’t bad as much for it being that much but since i did it all alone and my bad luck the week prior i got shingles and then had 10 days of antibiotics. But around Baltimore realized that I was having after side effect of a major body temp every few hours and it just now ended over last nights sleep.
