From what I gathered, people in line were told by climate pledge security that they were gonna let the line in slowly at an entrance near the doors, but then 8am came and tøp security megaphoned that they’re letting people in at the south entrance and most people just went over there and collapsed in on each other and it became a huge crowd with people just trying to rush in front of each other. I thought it was a little chaotic bc there were like 200 people waiting in this organized line with like 30 people lingering out of it and then security were like “fuck that line and made everyone hoard. By far my most confusing thing bc of all the miscommunication between security staff members. But at end of the day you just go with the flow. I just wish the venue staff that was there were on the same page as tøp staff.

I was number 53 in off property the fan line (got there at 5pm last night)
We were continually told by climate pledge staff/security that our line was being honored. They told us that no matter what our line was going to be the start of the line and at 8AM they would come get us to move in a single file to start lining up at the AMEX HALL entry.
Around 630 a small group of people started forming a separate line. I approached them and asked if they were going to join the line and they said they were not interested.
8AM rolls around and security came out and essentially said “whoever gets there first will be the front of the line” and that was that. I personally asked the man in the orange hoodie if the fan line was being honored because of the sheer scale of it and they said “the only line being honored is the one that forms at the south entrance” so we all started to chaotically (and in a panic) move towards said entrance. The numbers got all jumbled and everyone was being fairly rude. Not one group more than the other but it was all a big mess.
It just sucks that they promised us one thing (more than once) and then went ahead and did something completely different and caused a literal stampede.
I’m chillin now though I got a good number and I’m good with it. We’re hanging out until 2 and then we’ll be back and we’re just there to party.

I’d imagine they’re going to stash in their car. I’ve been camping for shows before and unfortunately some people just… leave their camping stuff in the line when doors open. It’s not something I’ve seen often though.

Ah that all makes sense. Another person said she was going to put it in the car. I just asked security walking by thankfully and she said I can show my meds and they should be okay with it. It's a small backpack I just don't have anything smaller. I will take you up on this offer if they decline me though. I hope that's okay. I appreciate it greatly.
