I’m thinking about getting a room at a hotel and walking so I don’t have to drive home after or deal with the traffic.

I know they are buliding a intuit dome parking structure across the street, its not opened yet, so idk much about parking pricing but that would be your best bet in terms of parking, how ever there is a hotel next to intuit dome called “sönder lum” . Prices dont seem too bad , and im pretty sure you can get hotel exclusive parking there, its literally a couple feet away from the venue .

Street parking is also hard, basically anywhere around a 2 mile radius there are signs that say no event parking , and the locals are pretty on it to report any “illegaly” parked cars, but i know where i live anyone can park in the street, it might be kinda easy to find parking if you look between 7 am - noon.

i have tickets to the show on the 27th. this is my first time seeing tøp despite being a massive fan since 2016, i have floor seating (first time having floor seating too besides smaller concerts) and im not going with anybody. any advice for when i should get there so i can get a good spot (5’5” no platform shoes), what i should come prepared with, and what i should be prepared for??

I don't have floor tickets, but I've seen people recommend getting to the venue early to get to the front. I've also seen people say to maybe get there in the morning if you wanna be super early to get a good spot.

Come early, usually event venues have a time when the line can officially form for the show so keep on top of that information. What you bring depends on your venue's guidelines, they usually have restrictions on what you can and can't bring into the venue. Pack light as possible, but don't leave out anything essential. I usually bring water, a portable charger, some Advil if my feet start to hurt, high fidelity concert earplugs, and food to eat while in line.

Do not bother with camping, you can get great spots without camping as long as you show up as early as you can. Not to mention a lot of the people who camp are often not very nice. Some venues have a wristband system where you are given a number in line and can leave and line up again in the same order before the show starts so you don't have to wait in line all day. These wristbands are usually limited the first 500-1000 people or so, and it's really nice because you don't have to wait in line all day. I was number 800 at the takeover tour and was maybe 3 rows from the front, so don't sweat it if your wristband number is high

TL;DR: Come as early as the venue allows so you can secure a wristband or a good spot in line, pack only the essentials, don't bother with camping

you can be close enough for trees if you come the morning of the show!

Come the morning of, they will likely give you a numbered bracelet so you can secure a spot in line, and tell you when to come back. Then you can go about your day and do whatever while you wait, then get back in line at the time they gave you. This is how it worked at the Forum show during the takeover tour, so it's probably safe to assume Intuit Dome has a similar system. That said, either way show up in the morning and you'll be plenty close

ill be ga and last time i went to the pit (bandito tour) we didnt camp at all or cut any lines we just showed up about an hour early and we ended up 3 or 4 rows from barricade

that was at staples center tho but it was a sold out show so it was definitely full

during the opener the pit was still very open so thats around the time we were able to get closer to the front

although this tour doesnt seem to have an opener (or yet) so idk abt that

it was only me and my dad tho, my first concert ever and my dad has been pit at punk shows many times so he knew whats up

ik some people dont like pushing to the front but you can a little bit without bothering people not too much or people get angry

some 6 foot something older guy from out of California got mad at us last time but no one else seemed to bother because we didnt push too much only like a few feet forward because i was shorter then and couldnt see at first

How did you all get into TØP?

I have an adult son with a rare genetic condition that has left him severely disabled. Back in 2016 I think it was, he really loved stressed out as it says some of his favorite words, “time, days, when”. Also the fun video didn’t hurt. 🤩

I took him and his younger brother to see them in 2017 at the Pond in Anaheim.

Unfortunately he didn’t last through more than a few songs so I never got to experience trees or a full set. We left right as Josh came on to the floor drum set.

I’ve been on a mental health journey for over a decade and really fell in love with their music and message.

I am determined to see/feel Trees live ❤️

I think my experience with getting into TOP is pretty similar to a lot of fans: I learned about their music at a time where I was learning the world kind of sucked (middle school) and to hear that life can be hard and that’s okay was really reassuring. I wasn’t feeling actually depressed at the time, but that time of life is difficult for most
people, depression or otherwise.

I continued to be a fan for a few years and when I had a short bout with depression in 2020, their music really pulled me through and I began to understand it on a level I hadn’t before. It taught me to feel the weight of the world, acknowledge it, acknowledge my own struggles, and still push through regardless and just to be okay with not being okay for a little bit, knowing things will eventually get better.

Another aspect of course is I was also really into the lore and the story, which also solidified my fandom. I’m a big nerd for an interesting story (as I am a film major), and they came up with something I had never seen done before which really fascinated me. I know they’re not the first to do an ARG, but the whole dma.org saga was my first so it was a really big deal to me

The extra benefit is the tuition is MUCH cheaper than a place like chapman

i heard of TOP when they were super popular in Blurryface era, but I never got into them. In 2022, my bother/cousin (by blood, my cousin, but we grew up together) suddenly passed away, at only age 20. I was basically MIA from life for a year, eventually came to and started trying to cope by getting into things that he liked. TOP was one of those things, and it turns out I really like them too. I don't normally go to concerts, don't like crowds. But going to this show is a way to honor him while also enjoying something we both love. I'm just hoping I don't break down in an embarrassing way during the set-- depends on what they play ❤️

I know that for more recent shows, the check in system has been more effective than camping. This means that you’ll check in with the line leaders at specific times during the day to hold your spot, and the rest of the day you’re free to go about your business

as for where wristbands might be distributed, intuit dome has team store "flagship store" that is open daily just right outside the plaza. most likely they will distribute wristbands there. keep in mind the NO CAMPING part from intuit dome. (and knowing the area, regardless I'd rather not risk it even though for forum shows it might've been different.)

was on the phone earlier asking about where ga pit would enter and it would most likely be through "the wall entry" or the "intuit north vip entry" it is confusing on how will they get us to line up at 2pm officially.

most likely after olivia rodrigo passes through, we'll get a better understanding on what to prepare for n1 and n2. I'm running it n1 so its been 3 years since greek theatre, 10 years since palladium, and yeah.

Also would like to point out that on the intuit dome website, they are not allowing distribution of any type of printed material without the written consent from intuit dome. so idk for the backslide project if we can keep it lowkey but if its not too big of a thing where everyone makes a big fuss out of it, we should be okay for it.

for what it's worth intuit is connected to bus routes 117 and 212... my backup plan w/o uber at least for getting there is connecting to those (which will take like 1.5 hrs round trip for a 25 min drive but that's why its plan C)

I have some parking recs but as a fair warning, do not park Hollywood Park casino

If you can carpool and park at intuit, do it. Besides the harboring parking lots that Intuit shows for parking, there are no street parking since the neighborhood is permit only. There is parking at a medical facility up prairie across the cemetery. If you can buy it now for either date, do it.

Was able to park early in the day to line up for NF at the forum a while back.
