Just a heads up, there was a ~200 people line in Seattle by 8am today and tøp security at like 7:55am announced that they didn’t care about the line since it wasn’t 8 yet. Everyone started crowding/hoarding towards the new entrance that was way behind the beginning of the line. I thought it was so chaotic. I heard the line leaders didn’t even get wristbands and there was a lot of yelling around me. It was very confusing and a little scary. I feel like it just created a lot of bad vibes and idk how future shows will be🤷‍♀️ bc venue security said that the line would enter where the beginning was lined up (like they have done in the past) but then tøp staff changed it supposedly. And there was a group of ~30 people just lingering around bc “the line doesn’t start until 8am” and they all got in first before anyone that was in the line bc they rushed over and no security stopped them. So I guess what I’m saying is don’t expect the venue to honor your line even if they said they would

You should be fine if you get there around or before 6 am if you want a good view, but honestly the way the show is set up, you could show up late and you’ll have a good view of the boys at some point during the show because they move around a lot. I just personally enjoy the experience of camping and getting barricade.

Yeah I will say yall, just my opinion… probably don’t camp 😭😭😭 It’s not the safest, there’s no guarantee you won’t be mugged, especially if your dressed in bright yellow tape and are a teenager. Your like a prime target 😭 Also, venues usually will not honor fan lines! I’ve seen a lot of people have their experience ruined because they waited days in their fan line but the real line doesn’t honor it. Just get in line as soon as you can, and try to have fun! If you get hung up on being in the best spot, you probably won’t… I’ve had friends and a personal experience where I was so focused on getting a good spot when I didn’t I freaked out and couldn’t enjoy the concert. Granted I was like 13 but still yk.

My advice is to just get there as soon as possible, and make friends around you, and enjoy the music! Pits are not the most fun, your experience will not be perfects I’m not trying to sound like I’m talking down but I’m just warning yall from personal and second hand experience. Just enjoy the show however you can! If you still want to be upfront then get their as early as you can for the venue line

I was driving by yesterday while I was in town- and I feel like a lot of people forget Houston is the #1 sex trafficking city. Young adults/teenagers are NOT GOING TO BE SAFE camping ANYWHERE near the Toyota center. Houston’s top homeless camp is not even 5 minutes away from the venue doors. The reason fan lines aren’t a good idea for Houston is for the SAFTEY of the clique, and those who do decide to camp overnight may have unwanted interactions, or their safety violated.🥺 PLEASE be so cautious if going alone- and as stated above, MAKE FRIENDS!! I’ll see yall bright and early on the 4th❤️‍🔥

this isn't really a tøp only issue. i've camped (just one night or less) before and this has happened for every artist. when i saw olivia rodrigo in houston, 713 didn't honor the line and it created a stampede too. police had to be called and people got hurt, it was terrible. i've camped at the toyota center a couple of times before and they've always honored the fan line (despite saying they wouldn't on social media)

i'm going alone this time so i won't be camping, but if that is something you want to do then you just have to be prepared for the slight chance that toyota center security doesn't honor the line. the bigger mess here is honestly tøp security

The line was going smoothly up until the end. The people were in contact with the venue and were told that near 8:00 the line would start shifting and that someone from top security would try to meet up with them to get the line organized.
By 7:55 no one had met up yet but apparently sax said that they just wouldn't honor the line even if the venue said so wich caused some people to start running

Yeah this is a good description of the events, as someone who was there I’ll add on that like 30-40 people started to just rush to get wristbands and the entire rest of the 200+ person line was just holding firm and standing there waiting for security to come out until sax came out and stopped the Toyota guards from doing anything and let everyone in, then the entire line ran into the street and stampeded towards the enterance

They could have very easily just sent that small group to the back of the line everything was under control still until sax came out

Hell even just letting that group be at the front of the line and still stepping in to control the crowd would have been better but nope just a free for all
