a man approached the line, started being weird and asking people if the line was mostly women, then when told one of the people there had pepper spray because he was being persistent, he flipped out because "pepper spray is an illegal weapon" and "we were camping illegally" and he made vague threats saying that like something would happen/hed do something if we didnt leave by today. cops were called and for everyones safety, the line became check-in only.

Sorry this is a little late but I parked at 2371 Victory Ave, pretty cheap and you can buy multiple days + leave and come back without having to pay again

i understand why you think it’s unfair. but as someone who has spent the last 10 years wishing they could camp and watching videos of fan lines and the connections that the people in them have made. the fun that they have even sleeping on the streets. the security in knowing that the venue and the band respect you. and now that i’m finally in a position where i can do that at multiple shows and followed the rules of the venue just to have it shit on last minute both times is heartbreaking.

so yes. i get that not everyone can camp. but this rushing, pushing, shoving, jumping over the barricade to get a #1 wristband is not safe or fair either. and the line leaders are often in communication with the venue before they even start camping. all the line leaders i’ve had have been considerate, accommodating, and respectful

I was concerned about all the line stuff but I'm glad it's working out. While I think aac did the right thing I do wish they had kept the message clear to the line leaders. I don't want anyone to feel scammed, neither the people who stuck to the rules as initially stated or got the wrong message later.
