If you have access to a car. as another poster said. Your best bet would be drive to savin hill and park in their small parking lot. and take the red line to downtown crossing, then transfer to the orange line and head to north station.

Take free shuttle bus to JFK / Umass

Take the Red Line at JFK Umass heading north towards Alewife (Train will be labeled Alewife)

Get off the train at downtown crossing

When you get off the train (doors on right side) Head LEFT towards orange line headed towards OAK GROVE

Board the Orange Line Oak Grove Train (Will say Oak Grove on train and on signs)

Get off train at North Station

Heading Back

Board Orange line Train headed towards Forrest Hills OR Any green line train headed south (Both are on the same platform, orange line on left, green line on right just board whatever train comes first)

If taking Orange Line labeled forrest hills, get off at downtown crossing, and head to Red Line labeled "Ashmont" (because braintree line is down) and get off at JFK / Umass, then take free shuttle to Quincy Adams

If taking Green line, get off at Park ST, and take and head to Red Line labeled "Ashmont" (because braintree line is down) and get off at JFK / Umass, then take free shuttle to Quincy Adams
