but at the end of the day, we just do whatever we want, like, and matters to us. i think that’s my takeaway on it! if you sing it or change the lyrics or don’t sing it at all, it doesn’t matter, what matters is that we’re there in the show to enjoy

I think that the double meaning of Tyler also wishing he didn't specifically write the song for the radio is true, but we can try to take the lyrics as lore lyrics.
