They want to sell their merch, so I also think they will make sure to have enough there for everyone. I would suggest buying before the show starts, just to make sure you get what you want. (I don't know if they limit their items for every show - In the end they probably want to have something left for the last concerts in London...)
I just don't think it's necessary to stay in the arena for 2 hours before the concert starts if you have seats.
Also I thought they have a truck outside where you can buy merch before the show starts - please correct me if I am wrong! But if so you could buy there and enter the arena later...

I heard security knows that there is a queue and they are working with the people that are there

I doubt that there is a queue at the moment!
Problem is that the venue does not allow you to queue/camp, because the police/Ordnungsamt will not be okay with that. And someone could actually call the police on the camping people!
The band has to accept the rules of the city and the venue. So they say that we should do what the venue says. (They wash their hands clean.)
But then I am somehow sure that the band tells their security to accept fan lines. So security from the venue wouldn't be okay with camping, but band security is probably fine with it. But band security will not be around till Monday!
That's what I was seeing with the American concerts at least. And that's what will cause a lot of problems with the line. There will be lots of discussions about who was there first and if fan lines will be accepted and if they get the right to be first in line. (I saw venue security giving out wristbands and than band security came and gave out new ones...)
It would be better for everyone if the band security also wasn't accepting fan lines. Those people should learn that all of that isn't working. But sadly they get rewarded and will do it again and again...

Good ideas! For the Miniaturwunderland you should buy the tickets as early as possible and I also recommend to go there as soon as it opens so it's not too crowded yet.
