hey! ive been to many concerts both seated and standing in the past. honestly what to bring depends on entirely what you plan for the concert, for example do you plan to take lots of photos/videos ? if so maybe a portable charger in case your battery gets low! definitely some money, i think resorts world is cashless so you have to pay with a card/apple pay/whatever your alternative is! i bring a bag with me, not a big one, it has to be under a certain size but you can find this on the website or i can try locate it for you! anything else is entirely your preference on what you think you’ll need with you, ie any important medication (inhalers etc), sanitary/health stuff too, just depends on what you think will be necessary!

im gonna be in block 9 but if you need any help before the show youre always free to send me a text and i’ll try help you out! :)

They do an excellent job letting everyone in the pit have a good view. Of course being close to barricade at front stage is ideal. But you could also stand in the red circle to get a good view for trees. Then there's also two b stages in the back where they will play some songs. I guess the question is what view would you like to have

I love trees, however I would love barricade. I know two people who went to bp pulse live for Niall horan and they queued since 7/8 and got barricade but I’m not sure how many fans are going to queue/camp for the boys

Depending on how they handle the lines in the UK I'll be lining up from roughly 6am
They may do the number check in and then let you leave to get home and refresh without losing your spot in line
I've been barricade for like 3 shows and held Josh up once, it does get a little cramped and pushy at times especially when the boys come into the crowd so I would be prepared to hold your own, but in general people tend to be really nice and welcoming and help each other out if you need it
It also gets VERY hot in the pit so I would recommend wearing clothes that you can de-layer like a thin jacket to tie around your waist, security usually passes out and sprays water over the first few rows at barricade to help cool people down

My biggest piece of advice would be to just live in the moment and enjoy the experience, no matter where you may end up in the pit, go with the flow of the crowd and the people around you and just have fun

I would personally wait a little bit longer for ga to pop up. But ultimately its up to you. If you have the funds for it, you could always buy the side view so you have a ticket. And then by a ga when it comes up, then resell the side view

birmingham ida fun day out, there’s pigeon park (legit can’t remember the actual name for it) which is nice for a picnic

and of course you’ve got normal chain restaurants to go to right in the centre

but if you’re looking for like, activities to do, there is the aquarium which is nice for filling a couple of hours if you take your time going around it

uhhhh and i agree with digbeth, it’s a little trek but not hard to get to

i’m not sure if it’s still there but there’s a cafe called Kanteen which is brilliant, they’ve got really nice food and drinks

there’s another bakery opposite and of course there’s all the street art to look around

Nope if you get a wristband you don't have to be back until 4 usually, because of fpe it would be impossible to have people with wristbands also do fpe at the same time. The 2 pm thing is for you to be allowed back at the venue starting usually from 1-2pm now venues may have different rules but this has been pretty standard throughout

dont take my word for it but i think hmv is further than that- its hmv vault which i think is about a ten minute walk from new street station and then we’d be getting the train and also having to walk to the arena from the station

If it helps there are lots of places to eat around the HMV and around the concert venue!
I did the HMV signing last time as well and made it back to the venue in loads of time - these things normally run smoothly/quickly! :))

The walk from the hmv to the station is pretty straightforward, i go past it to get into the city centre from uni, there's loads of places to grab some food on the way or in the station that are quick if your short on time.

When I went in 2019 the queue was outside! You can access the arena by walking the whole way through the NEC, it’s well sign-posted. It brings you out at the front entrance to the NEC and you can walk round the outside to the arena from there 🙂 it’s all very easy to get to!

I'm basically just gauging when other people might line up. I won't really know until maybe sunday or monday before the show. In one of the shows I did in california, i lined up around five am and got around number 140. Then the show in vegas was crazy and there was big confusion about the line. Someone actually ended up giving us their wristbands, because they were in the seats, and they thought the wristbans were for fpe so got super lucky there. Because the line was abandoned in the morning. My friend just went to Italy and it was also crazy. She went the night before and got almost 400. I think it just depends on the show and what others are planning
