not to get too deep and cheesy and not to jump into your guys’ conversation, but i’ve been into pilots for almost 11 years this year. i stopped obsessing as much in the past three or four years as so. that last year, 2024, the beginning of that year was soooo hard for me. i knew that was the year i was ||finally going to let myself go|| and then teasers dropped, leaks, next semester, the tour, the album and i just knew. knew i had to keep myself living. next semester was released at exactly the time i needed it to. no words can describe how much next semester means to me. that song is MY LIFE. it’s about ME. after that song, came oldies station. push on through is now my number 1 phrase, that’s why i want to get that tattooed. it’s the most beautiful song, to live for so long that your favourite all time song is now classed as ‘old’. i knew i had to wait until till the album dropped, than i had to wait till i saw them live. and now?? there’s no more waiting, only living. i’m back in that place right now where pilots is the reason i’ll continue to go on
