Okay I broke down and bought tickets! I'm in the nose bleeds for this show. I'm kicking myself though because when I checked last week there were still a lot of fpe tickets left. But when I went to buy tickets yesterday, there was only one left. I got it, but I needed one more for my husband. I'm hoping a few more pop up so I could grab one more for him. I have a single ticket, traveling with my son, but he won't be attending the concert with me. I am a 57 y.o. mom and have been to 5 tøp concerts in the US, including the September 15th concert in Baltimore, and on a whim I purchased a ticket to the May 14th concert then I started planning my trip. Hi ! My friend and I are trying to get to the show on May 13 but it's kinda complicated because we don't live in England. Is there anyone who would be willing to take both of us in their car ? We need to go from stansted airport to the O2... And also, we need a way to return to stansted airport the next day.

You can get the Stansted Express train into London, and then use the tubes to get around. I don’t know how much that would cost you, but that’s probably the easiest option.

but it is usually okay

they may not deliver tickets until a couple days before the show, and if they don't deliver the tickets, stubhub's refund/guarantee policy only entitles you to a refund of your original price, not the price the tickets are currently worth/replacement tickets. so you can end up getting screwed if the tickets have skyrocketed in price

Ive wanted to get pit but I wear a medical brace and it sucks standing for multiple hours with no support and 5e barricade is a life saver for me. I could maybe get handicap but it’s not super necessary for me and I don’t want to take a spot up since I feel those are limited. Technically they didn't honor any fan lines any of the Cbus nights or 90% of the us leg of tour but then changed it during aus/NZ and LATAM shows. A few of the us shows venue security was honoring the line but tøp security came on and said nope despite the venue being ready to honor it. They've completely let it be the venue to decide whether they honor the fan lines (from my understanding and history of this tour alone)

If you have a wristband you don't need to show up until they tell you to come back when they want people to line up it's usually around 4-5pm fpe starts at 2ish and if you have a numbered wristband you get your place back in that line after you finish fpe

Depending on the venue they will have a regular ga line that will happen the venue will say a time you can start lining up for that and wristbands usually have a slightly separate line because they are let in first

There's some venues that would have you lining up right after the wristbands are handed out and others had a set time Denver was allowed just before wristbands had to be lined up and Cbus had a separate line that once it was put up you could start lining up and cdmx had a system for keeping people in their spots and gdl had people lining up right after wristbands before we had them distributed and then kept them lined up till entry but you could leave if you had friends hold your spot I believe not 100% sure

In general the whole point of the wristbands was to get people not being forced to stay at the venue the entire time until the show and to allow relief so people don't faint and they can rest and recharge and to ensure they were following the venue rules

it has typically started at 2pm but sometimes as late as 3pm, but there's no guarantee they keep this timing. and it typically ends 3 hours later (ie, everyone has to leave the exhibit at that point, but you can leave earlier if you're finished)

(im not sure how they handled people who dont have wristbands but do FPE bc i never encountered this situation so hopefully someone else in this chat knows)

just from experience me and my friend were at the melb show in aus it ran super smoothly we showed up around 2-3am the day of the show and got numbers 171-174, the venue the concert was held at doesnt allow camping but staff and security at a different venue close by allowed people to camp there and at 7-7:30am we all slowly started to move to the actual veneue to collect wristbands, it took awhile for us to get in order but we eventually got there and succesfully got wristbands!! and yes when u get the wristbands u can leave and come back at anytime the staff told us to come back by 4pm... it was again a slow process to get into the correct numbered lines before the gates opened but as long as u have ur wristband u shouldnt lose ur spot or number, just have to find people around u with similar numbers to urself :)

just have to hope people cooperate and things go smoothly which u never know if it will or not 😔but hopefully we do!!

In the US the venues checked/pre scanned tickets for validity before getting a wristband, in gdl and Mexico city they checked to make sure you have valid tickets
It's also likely you will get your tickets before the show day as well (I also bought resale 😬)

honestly i would not want to be on any train alone as a woman at 1am, however, i do regularly go on the train at about 10pm and whilst it is definitely questionable at times, i find the best thing to do if you have go alone is to stick to carriages that are much more full (after the show this should hopefully not be too much of a problem), obviously make sure you are aware of your surroundings, like who is on the train etc. just generally like regular safety stuff when out alone. but personally i would definitely want to travel with a friend at that time of night in london

I had a couple of my friends who have been to some of the shows in Europe and America and they did a fan line for some of them as the arena didn’t open until the morning

i know in prague they gave out bands to first 500 people

In Prague there was a girl who organized a fan line (and some people slept in front of the venue so they had the lowest numbers) and talked to people from the venue about it. Basically they accepted our fan line and gave us the official wristbands according to our number in fan line around 9:00 am (but I personally got there around 5 am to even make it to the first 500 people)

if you have o2 priority they have 100 wristbands for that

If you have headphones on no one should bother you. And if you are genuinely worried you can hop off at major stations on route and ask for help from station staff. But Thames link if it has sus people they normally don’t stay on for long if you just don’t entertain their presence or shenanigans

if anyone here has not been to the o2 before i just wanted to say it is pretty great from experience!! have plenty of places to eat before the show, lots of shops etc. inside, even went bowling there once haha it is huge

also an absolute nightmare to get on the tube though

but thats usual for concerts

im probably gonna try avoid getting on the tube on the way back

buses probably haha, although last time i when to see tøp i didnt get home til 3 or 4am cause we missed the last tube 💀 mostly my fault because i didnt want to queue for the tube haha
