Hey everybody ^_^ I am a Freelance Concert Photographer from Ohio - not hired by them or anything - but I have photographed them 4x and yes I enjoy touring and taking photos but there’s a different idea on my mind as of late:
Either I am blind or it’s never existed or it has existed and it’s gone now or there’s an ENTIRELY separate discord for it but I really think having a #tour channel would be fundamental. Twitter / X has been the main way of communication for “line leader / line members” who camp out for shows / events / festivals etc. In the Paramore server in the last year and a half I recall there being separate channels within a tour channel for each show. Example: Insert Location / Insert Date of Show. So that way each group of people could coordinate with one another for each of their shows - in a clean and organized fashion. When tour dates for Clancy get announced - I am hoping this can be accessible and provide a means of connecting and updating one another about water stations / a specific group that’s handing out snacks in the line / check in times / early door times / rain check updates / emergencies / and other essentials. And of course the occasional off topic jargon for those who aren’t attending tour but want to share memes and such about tour.
Also - side note - when tour ends - I don’t think the #tour section should be deleted. It should exist because many people don’t even use X or Twitter and discord is their “Archive” of memories.
