So how do we feel at the idea that there could only be 1/2 lore songs in Breach? Despite everything thinking about it, I don't hide a bit of disappointment... we theorized for a whole year of a "double album" because we were convinced that they wouldn't close the story in a single song but... more or less that's what will happen.

Like, we went from "It's not possible that only one song will close the story!" To "see? A whole new album!” To go back to "well, apparently a single song will close the story...". It seems that Breach will follow the same modus operandi as Clancy (don't get me wrong, I love Clancy)

I've thought for a long time that City Walls will be a long opener, based off the slow tempo of the snippets and the overall melancholy feel it has. Now knowing it's the ending of the storyline, I'm even more confident this will be a long opener.

As a side note, I don't buy the album being less than 45 at all. I'm not saying it'll max out at 50, but making a 13 track album as short as or shorter than SAI (11 tracks) is just a ridiculous notion.

That's not to say we won't have a Levitate thrown in there - an oddball with a really short track length - but Drum Show and The Contract both indicate these songs being very fleshed out and not skipping out on potential twists and turns.

Could be about being trapped in Dema, unsure of the right path to take, needing to sort it out and choose, then reaching out to someone to save them (and then escape from Dema with the HDS vid), doubting the person that saved them but that person also keeps them striving forward and living, being stuck in a situation where you feel like you’re not gonna recover but needing to get rid of that feeling, deciding your not gonna stay in the lines prescribed to you and then deciding to live for yourself and those you love

Basically this sounds like a potential outline of Clancy’s story. It could be something that City Walls flits through as a recap of sorts, with call backs to previous MVs

I do wonder if recordings from the listening party are technically leaks at all. If they aren't taking people's phones away and they're free events for anyone to attend, then I honestly don't think they count as leaks at all. It's expected to be public info by then.

I also wonder if the listening parties were the band's idea, or if it's something FBR kinda pushed them into doing since a lot of other artists started doing LPs around the same time and they're very good for publicity. I know they've always been very stirct with their rollouts and last year, Tyler was so adamant that people should experience the album with the videos that they delayed the whole thing by a week. So I found it odd that they'd be okay with people hearing it early anyway, especially when sending out copies of Clancy to record stores just increases the likelihood of the files leaking by a lot.

Same thing with Breach, I know they pushed the album back for whatever reason, possibly because of the City Walls video. But if they're dropping a video with the album this time also, it's still interesting that the band would be cool with doing early listening parties. I'm not really complaining ofc, I just wouldn't have thought they'd decide that on their own and I wonder if it's actually FBR making it happen.
