Clancy is their second best album. But in my honest opinion I don't think Clancy reached its full potential. The tour versions of songs all being noticeably improved kinda feeds into that.

I know there's a difference between preferences and critiques. But with Clancy there were multiple moments on the record where I listened to a song and thought it could have been fleshed out more. Which was never the case with Trench and rarely the case with SAI.

honestly i don’t think it is half baked quality wise it’s just produced in a different way than trench and sai those albums were more layered and atmospheric and clancy’s production was more on the nose and focused most of the time but to me the cracks in clancy comes with the tracklist, it is clearly an album that can be switched around and have little to no changes other than first and last song, thing that doesn’t happen at all with for example trench

actually, i disagree. the song itself wouldve been registered through a PRO by FBR seeing as FBR is the label that ultimately owns the song. copyright stuff has to be handled before anything is registered, including royalty splits and stuff, so blanket approval's label (owned by one of the members of that group btw) wouldnt have been the ones to register it. at the very least, i doubt it was for copyright purposes, but im 100% still heavily leaning towards it being registered early because its a single.
