The point of marketing is to get people together in one place and excited. Think Tyler's town hall analogy from the interview he did with Zane Lowe.

Half of the reason for marketing is lost once the album drops.

There's no point in pulling any punches. I'm not saying they have to give us another single, but by all logical means they should if they care about the audience they've gathered.

And if they're not going to do so, then we need more teasers, photoshoots, tour ads etc. Even if they're based around The Contract or tracks from Clancy.

Currently it feels like their marketing team went on strike and the boys are in disarray.

This isn't a hiatus and if they wanted it to feel like one then they should've gone all in. There's no reason we should be in this chat daily grasping at straws to know if this album even exists.
