Ultimately, whether or not they sell something in the store, I hope they have a way of preserving the story for future fans. I bought a copy of the DEMA journal, and while it's cool, I have a hard time imagining using it to explain the story to someone new.

I feel like a lot of the story was told through fan experiences and now-deleted tweets - I just hope the story still works for people who become fans 10-20 years down the line.

i think the main "easy" way is the youtube playlist with all the MVs. i think they will release a short film (i hope), if not then a physical journal with everything in it from start to end would be amazing.

The music videos (paired with the "I Am Clancy" video) do a pretty good job getting the main story out. And there are a variety of fan projects that explain the lore well. I guess my thinking is that there is so much more to the story of DEMA than what the videos show. Since the journal came out, we had more letters appear in the FPE. Heck, the album cover for Breach somewhat depends on background knowledge of the Clancy Tour (I guess The Contract sorta recaps this?).

And don't even get me started on Simone Weil and the Towers of Silence and the Blurryface tweets.

Obviously, a lot of this will also depend on how Breach handles the story, but I would hate to see large chunks of the story being lost to time. I think it'd be cool if my kids or other future fans would be able to stumble across Twenty One Pilots and be able to experience the FULL story the same way we all have.

At a minimum, I'd like a DVD containing all the lore videos - that'd be cool. But in an ideal world, I'd have a whole Gravity Falls-style journal recording the Blurryface tweets a detailed history of a dmaorg website, etc...

A huge ask for sure. It probably won't happen. But I hope we, as a fanbase, do a good job archiving this era we're in.
