I'm ngl, I actually love the autotune on The Contract. There's a difference between good autotune and bad autotune. it depends on how and why it's used. Nearly every artist uses pitch correction on their voice to make it sound better in recordings, even Tyler. It's commonplace. Autotune isn't for that. It's an effect. It's supposed to sound more digitized and robotic. It's a creative choice. It's not even that much. If anybody listens to any kind of hyper-pop, or even Brat, which everyone listened to, you'd know that autotune is used as an effect to sound cool. If you don't like how it sounds, that's totally fine. But obviously Tyler does. One of the songs he posted last year that he loved was Cheerleader by Porter Robinson. That song uses autotune in a similar way to The Contract. It's clear he's drawing inspiration from some other artists that he likes, as always.

The teaser wasn't much to go off of, but I am getting some more aggressive, hyper-popish vibes from the synths we heard there. I wouldn't be shocked if the autotune made some more appearances throughout, so ig mentally prepare yourselves 🤷‍♂️
