so i’m pretty sure the current top merch is made with dtg printers, which tbh just kind of suck but they’re good for quickly swapping designs. wash off is more common and quick than screen printing and also the color matching is really difficult. tends to be why the red specifically is never what’s shown on the website. i work with some dtg printers and they honestly are just shit, but big manufacturers like amazon use them in bulk

so unless they swap over to screen printing which at this point in production would take a lot of effort and extra money, we’ll have to deal with the cheaper shirt quality we’re getting now

and also just don’t buy amazon shirts because they’re all used with that technology and wash off really quickly
